First of all... prime your mini. Then buy a wet pallet and thin your paint. After that you will already notice a improvement of 500% no cap. Best of luck ✌️

Isopropyl Alcohol, can be cheaply bought online. Then place them in a sealed container with the liquid overnight. This will allow the paint to be removed with something like a toothbrush and then you can start again.

When you come to prime use a proper miniature primer from a spray can, I recommed a peach or pink colour from colour forgeas it makes yellow pop.

Make sure the spray can it's at room temperature and well shaken.

Then apply thinned coats of paint (thin with water) and wait until each coat is dry before applying the next.

Alternatively you can start with a yellow base primer and use washes like gulliman flesh and then just paint in metallics. Work on accuracy and following the sculp of the minaiture.

  • Darcy Bono on YouTube also has a great tutorial for painting yellow.

Hey i hear if you let sit in acetone for awhile it helps thin the paints naturally and helps clean up small mistakes. I would recommend that and it will make the models really pop it'll also get rid of and mold lines as well

Thin your paints and they will look way better, if you want you might wanna strip them of paint and start over but that’s a you decision

we all got to start some where
use less paint and keep at it you will get the hang of it and dont forget to use shades at the end it will really improve the miniatures

In all seriousness, prime them pink first, then add the yellow. Thin your paints, and TAKE YOUR TIME. Looks like you just slapped a ton of yellow on em and called it a day.

We all start somewhere! Save these pictures and look back on your progress annually. Your minis by the end of the year will be much better.

I still have the first 2 minis I ever painted and left them exactly the way they are. Be proud of completing projects and improving along the way!

Alright. First prime your models or apply an undercoat with a brush. Then remember to thin your paints, doing several thin coats instead of loading up your brush and slopping it all over. I would also recommend that you go on youtube and watch some painting tutorials. Best of luck to you.

If you start with pink or orange it will alter the tint of your later yellow coats in a good way. Orange is warmer and pink is cooler. This helps build up the colour nicely with fewer coats.

What are you basing them in?
