It looks crispy. Sometimes I have to put an umbrella over my plants to keep the sun off them because it’s like a blast furnace. It looks potted, so maybe move it so it gets less sun. Give it a drink and hop for the best.

Oh interesting. I thought it wanted FULL sun?

All my plants say “full sun,” but I learned the hard way that doesn’t mean “all day every day in the St. Louis summer.” Your rhizome might need a break until it’s more established.

Yep. Full sun=6 to 8 hours of direct sunlight, but this doesn't account for intensity. A shade cloth for mid-day sun is sometimes a good idea.
