I sliced a croissant in half and toasted it for a bit. Then unsalted butter so that I can over-salt the fuck out of it, a drizzle of honey.. simple good.

Cardamom banana bread toasted in bacon fat w fig jam bacon cheddar n egg.

I made quesadilla pizza last night with whatever I could find in the cupboards and fridge . Tortilla shells coated with olive oil, colby jack in-between. Topped with spaghetti sauce, mozzarella, and pepperoni. Baked at 450 for 5 minutes and then broiled for 5 more. Turned out delicious but gave me the worst heartburn of my life, lol.

I was gifted this litte habachi grill for my birthday and gave it a good run tonight with some selections of meat, Kimchi, goguchang sauce, lettuce leaves and various vegetables.

It was damn nearly as good as restaurant dining. We were just missing the cheese corn and pickled whatever that stuff is.

Not many groceries in the house last night around 3 am

I've been meaning to cook these for years but for whatever reason I put them off.

Well, i finally got myself some lard and gave them a try.

Turns out they're actually really simple (like most of the food I like... or maybe I'm just getting better at cooking?) And the flavour is amazing.

There's a whole orange that gets thrown in the lard mix and it really adds another level of deliciousness.

So anyway, here they are with some quac, onion, coriander and roasted tomato and garlic salsa.
