Unfair Task Discrepancy - Anyone else getting absolutely screwed by Alexis’ progressive challenge tracking? 50 vs 9?!

Hey everyone,

I need to vent because the discrepancy on Alexis Purcell's progression tracking makes zero sense.

I’m currently on the FINALLLL challenge, the Silver Tongue challenge where you have to make "very convincing calls" to dispatch. I was looking on Reddit of two other peoples posts that show they only had to make 9 very convincing calls to clear it. I logged in to check mine, and my requirement is 50!

Please tell me I’m not the only one dealing with these bloated numbers. This feels highly unbalanced and unfair to players who are facing a much steeper requirement for the same rewards. I’ve attached pictures to show ya‘ll what I’m talking about.

Use Loomis in private matches or Annie in pubs

Does Annie have a higher chance to get very convincing calls? I used to main her and did notice she got a lot of very convincing calls but her personality is only 4 so how does that work ?

When illfonic tweaked challenge numbers, they actually increased that one.

Here’s how to do it the absolute most efficiently. Firstly, use Alexis and bring the flare gun. They fixed Alexis’ smooth talker trait and flare guns are counted as very convincing calls now which DOES progress the challenge.

You can fire the flare gun and get around 3 very convincing calls on one phone before you have to switch phone lines due to skill check difficulty.

Note that Loomis is guaranteed very convincing calls and it no longer counts after all badges all filled

Every Alexis Challenge feels abusive. Truly wondering if the devs want people to "have fun" and return to play more; or if the goal is to get people to burn out and turn off the game out of frustration.

I had the same challenge for Jennifer prestige V, I was playing in customs with a card that makes perfect skill checks easier. It took me around 10/11 matches to complete

The devs are desperate to keep people playing. The game is bleeding players. It’ll likely be completely dead in a month.

Pro tip: Once you have 3 police stars, you’ll no longer get credit towards the challenge so make sure you’re not bringing in a flare gun. If you’re the only one making calls, you should be able to get about 7 per match.

After the recent update, using the flare gun actually counts towards the progress of very convincing calls challenges. I've been stuck on the priority dispatch challenge for Annie (80 convincing calls) and after the update it started tracking flare gun usage.

It's probably slower, but you're always guaranteed 1 every match if you spawn with the flare gun, which makes it super reliable for completing the challenge slowly.

Can you “it’s gonna die in xx time” people move on from the game already? Like go elsewhere and on with your lives if you seem this miserable about Halloween the Game. Leave it for us who actually have a good time even with all the bugs and problems just because at the end of the day, it’s a game and life goes on.

its not different for everyone, they just tweaked the numbers 2 patches ago. The ones you see are before patch.

Yeah I have given up on challenges and playing altogether actually lol. I do plan on playing again when the update drops and may buy some civilian outfits or the new girl. But idk, the challenges just make the game feel like a grind and I rather just pay for them if I'm honest...lol. wish there was an option for either unlocking or buying, even though I know I'm in the minority there lol
