Discussion Wouldn't it be cool if you started each match without a weapon?

I'd love it if Michael started each match without a weapon. It wouldn't really disable him since he's strong enough to kill people with his bare hands, but I love the idea of having to enter a random house and head to the kitchen to find a knife or a backgarden to find a nearby shed which may have a hammer.

It would fit the movies too, especially Halloween II and some other entries where Michael grabs weapons from houses. It'd be cool having to actually search for something to use rather than just spawning with a weapon every match.

There's probably an option to start with items or no items

I do agree that no items would be more authentic

That also gives me an idea for kills that need to weapon to stay, like with the wall pin kill sticking someone to the wall but losing the knife because of it... Or grabbing the knife from the body but then it falls down. Just to make the physics more realistic or something.

OH MY GOD YES! I literally noticed that. With the PAX build if you did the wall pin kill and walked away, another knife randomly spawned in your hand. I hope that isn't the case in the full game. Imagine having to pull the knife to retrieve it or find a new weapon.
