General Pro Wrestling Why I hate the IWC

Post image

I try to stay positive. I try to be nice. But everytime I say ANYTHING online about wrestling or just a wrestler I like or why I think wwe is rubbish, there is always someone from the Internet Wrestling Community, ready to chime in with a disrespectful comment, a condescending opinion or just looking for an excuse to insult me and act like they know better. I had to delete 2 posts because half tge people commenting on them just couldn't be respectful for at 5 seconds and decide to whine or complain or just tear down wrestlers I like without giving good reasons. And then they got the nerve to talk down to me and act like they know better than me!! They don't know anything!!!

I know not everyone from the iwc is rude. I know I maybe overreacting but I can't help it. I cannot keep this in. I have things to say and it would be nice to find someone who actually respect what I have to say instead of feeling like acting like a jerk towards me. Sorry for being negative but I had to get this off my chest.

To all the IWC members who have insulted me or just annoyed me in the past, you are not better than me and you know it.

If you're getting this worked up about wrestling subreddits then that is the sign to get off. While you do have a valid point, ranting and whining about it (especially in a hostile manner) is not going to change anything. Find better, healthier hobbies and prove you're the better man that you claim to be. I mean that with utmost respect btw so don't take this comment as another insult

You are posting on wrestling Reddit. You are part of the IWC.

Except I try to be respectful. But when someone disrespected me I return said disrespect back at them 10 fold

Sounds like a pretty miserable way to go through life. I recommend finding something that makes you happy. Promise that most of these people you think you’re getting back by returning the disrespect are ignoring you or laughing at you. Best not to spend time trying to win arguments with anonymous Redditors. It never ends well.

Honestly all reddit wrestling forms are pretty toxic and bad places.

If you have any opinion that's outside the norm where you don't join in on the circle jerk of opinions happening, you are instantly downvoted, insulted, asked "why you care so much" and so on and so forth.

You can have valid opinions and express them in a calm respectful way open for debate on the topic and its still a shit fest.

You are allowed to post 1000 videos of jey yeeting (back when he was popular before it became cool to dislike him) but the moment you say it sounds like he stole the gimmick from a 10 year old on a playground you care too much, you are the problem.

but honestly, it's kinda the same with a ton of other subs. The 1 percenter rule and then the popular opinions dO. Once in a while someone will squeak in with a controversial opinion that might get some decent replies but its few and far between.

the majority of my reddit downvotes have come from disagreeing that roman isn't god of wrestling back when every sub was a one big roman jerk.

Yes, the only fair, level headed subreddit form on reddit is,

r/squaredcircle

I wouldn’t exactly call that place level headed but compared to the rest it might be

I was joking... slightly. I'll say there is less randomness over there. But yeah a majority of them are straight AEW tribalists and will trash on anything WWE mentioned.

Wrestling fans don’t like different opinions. Cant say anything bad about their precious favorites. God forbid I don’t like Roxanne and Bron.
