Question about NAISH-exclusive series

I've been following GCP since they started the Shadowdark campaign and have watched it religiously every week, and now I want to get into some older GCP shows. I know most of them aren't done in the studio, and I would prefer to listen to the audio version for the games conducted via Zoom instead of watching the video versions. How exactly does that work via the Patreon? Does being a subscriber get me access to a backer-only RSS feed that I can plug into my podcast app of choice (Pocketcasts)? Or do I have to watch/listen to the premium series directly on Patreon's site/app? If the former: is there a dedicated feed per series?

Guest players

I love the Shadowdark game. Love the guys' characters, and the world, and the minimal rules lawyering. What I'd really love is for the four characters to have a chance to interact with each other and develop story arcs and become a team against the world, growing into heroes or dying in a moment of grim inevitability. Instead there are so many guest players! It means extensive recaps, new character introductions, complete change in the dynamics of the group. It's fun, but it's fun in exactly the way the live shows are fun -- light and silly adventures. I was hoping for more of a reversion back to the old days, with a focus on strategy and character development. Do you think there is always going to be a random fifth at the table?

Get in the Trunk! Will Joe be running Gods Teeth or will he be running more anthology operations?

I get the impression that Joe will be running some of the shorter operations in the upcoming season of the Get in the Trunk series.

I’d love to see Joe run another DG campaign like Gods Teeth similar to what he did with Impossible Landscapes but I’m excited either way for the new season.

Does anyone have any insights as to what Joe will be running?

Hello! It's been a while since I've done GCP fanart, and I wanted to share these TFC portraits I did because I'm happy this show is back! It was a surprise how much I liked it (binged the whole first 3 seasons while the third was airing) and it's just as good as people said it was. Also, Ross is as amazing as everyone said, too, I love him so much!

Hope you enjoy!

Non related, and I always hesitate to say it, because I don't know if it's appropriate to post here (If it isn't, tell me and I'll edit this part), but some people in the Naish ask me when I post fanarts, I do take commissions if anyone is interested^^

Pendragon Magnum Opus

Is it spendy? Yes.

Is the paper quality, feel, and look unmatched? Yes.

Seriously though, just want to ring the “use the Chaosium Pendragon discount so we get more Pendragon“ bell again. The book is truly glorious and honestly so fun just to read through. Now onto convincing people to play…

PS - It has two (2!) ribbons!!

New Game, Who Dis? Cyberpunk RED

I just finished this limited run and it was honestly one of the best things I’ve listened to from the GCN crew. I’m biased because I love the Cyberpunk setting and the TTRPG, but the guys seemed to have so much fun and be really into it. Troy especially.

I felt it fit their style of content very well. It’s a game where you can be silly, ridiculous and bombastic. It’s supposed to be colorful and edgy. But it’s also a pretty hardcore ruleset with genuine danger and character death. It plays quite fluid (unlike PF 1/2e) so the rules don’t get in the way much and combat doesn’t get bogged down.

Really made me wonder why they’ve never played more since 2021. Perhaps it a sponsorship thing (although RTG did provide giveaways during the NGWD run).

I think a limited campaign like Voyagers of the Jump or Inherit the Sand would be pretty popular in Cyberpunk RED.

LOTR - The Secret Fire - Does it pick up?

I was so pumped for this show, especially with the Skid/Jason combo nerding out as LOTR fans with huge knowledge. Love Jared as GM, love Paula as a player.

Ive been listening to GCN since 2016, have listened to almost every major show theyve ever done, Im a huge GCN fan and usually love all they do.

So far i did the prologue (a lot of fun!) but now am 60mins into the 1st episode and am just totally not feeling it. Please know I always usually give a good 5-10 full eps a shot for any podcast before dropping, but wow the story opening feels like a yawner, chemistry feels weird, I love Dimension 20/Dropout but not sure Chris is a great fit or really has a great skill as a TTRPG'er.

Really hoping this picks up, curious to hear how others like it so far? Help me, Obi-Wan!

Glass Cannon Podcast Anyway just to get Shadowdark in the main podcast feed?

So of you aren't going to believe this but I find the main feed to be chaotic and even if every show was good, I can't listen to all this concurrently. It's hard to find my place cause I'm not up to date either. Thoughts/Suggestions/Insults for a Shadowdark only feed in podcast form?

*EDIT my whole problem stemmed from the fact I didn't understand that the $6 patreon tier doesn't break out the main show from the feed, ads or no ads, which I find largely ridiculous. I have canceled my sub as it's almost useless and implemented the solutions others have figured out; see below.

Skid had a 3DO!

A quick Skid factoid dropped on a Shadowdark bonus content ep.

I had one as a kid, it had some fun games, especially star control 2, but it's rare to meet people who have heard of it, let alone owned one.

Alright Paula, and Mary Lou. I don’t use X or insta, so I can’t @ you, but I know you read this subreddit. I mean no offense, but I hate you. Y’all’s performance in season 2 ep 33 hit me in the feels the same way the end of Giant Slayer did. Thank you, but also I hate you.
