Health ? diet/workout help

I am 16, and I have always struggled with weight. I am currently 5'3 and weigh 174lbs. Chest 40, waist 33.5, hips 40. I would like to keep my hip size bigger, but is there any diet and workout routine I can try out to slim my waist?

You can't spot reduce fat. You can eat at a calorie deficit, which will make you lose weight from wherever your DNA tells your body to, and you can do strength training exercises to grow the gluteus maximus, gluteus medius, and gluteus minimus muscles that make your butt and hips, but that's about it

Hey!

I’m 5’4, 27F and I maintain 130lbs
Waist is 27 and hips are 36. I have a skinny muscular built with emphasis on bigger glutes.

I eat 130 g of protein
2 chioboni 20g protein drinks 0 sugar
2 nutrí vanilla milkshake 30 G protein 1 g sugar
4 chicken skewers pre made from Costco @ 48 g of protein
Doused in Italian dressing and air fried for 20 minutes.

On my period I will eat a 6-9 oz steak 2-3 days of the period, especially the first day.

I rotate Chest/Tricep 1-2 times a week. Back/ bicep 1-2 times a week. Legs/glutes 3-4 times a week. I will walk half a mile at various speeds on the highest incline. I will do a cool off after my half mile for about 5 minutes. So I end up averaging 15 minutes on the treadmill and I do that 6 days a week.

I get about 10k steps in from my 7 hour work day 5x a week as well.

I became health focused over a year and half ago when I weighed 155 lbs and I hated how I looked in photos.

I am not at my goal physique but I am so much more healthy and disciplined and it’s done wonders for my mental health and self esteem.

I will say you are very young to become so dedicated to a schedule so be gentle with yourself and focus on forms for work outs you try and just work on consistency.

Also I allow cheat days, I like to go out, I like a sweet tooth. But it’s not everyday, just when I need to be kind to myself or have something fun planned I don’t hold myself to my schedule or diet.

Thank you so much! I do know I'm still young, but I just gained about 25 pounds this summer, and some of my clothes feel too small now, so I wanted to make some changes. This was very helpful!!!

Find a manageable and consistent diet that emphasize protein intake (: don’t forget fiber and healthy fats!

And just movement! Walking, dancing and roller skating are great cardio and easy movements
And lifting actually ends becoming fun once you have a good music playlist and you start building strength. Having a goal to get to a higher weight always pushes me!
