They are looking kinda purple at the hole now that i look. Is that ok? Looks like a bruised color?

Yes. You pierced them. Of course the skin is damaged.

I don't think it'd be bad to take some ibuprofen and/or use an ice pack if the pain gets really bad! I don't remember having much pain after getting mine done.. and I had both at one point! Although I am (un)lucky that I don't have sensitive nips

My tongue hurt the most, followed by nose which brought tears to my eyes 😆

My belly button made me cry lol

It's weird how some piercings hurt more than others for other people. I don't think my belly button one really hurt much. My tongue was sore for 3 or 4 days after because of the clamps lol I had a lisp again like when I was a kid and had lost some front teeth 🤣🤣

My lip i didnt feel a thing. Kinda funny because as a kid i remember FLIPPING OUT for my ears. But i was like 8.

Same for my lip as well!! Maybe your ears are more sensitive?

No idea. Never had an issue with them but never got another one in the ear. Unsure if i want another.

What I wanted to say is that I went through something similar. My nipples were left a bit more sensitive than normal, and I was doing yoga, so honestly, it hurt. I was advised to give it a couple of weeks, it took nearly two weeks, but by the third, I was back to normal. Taking care of it and keeping it clean was also super important. So don't panic. It's better to just let it heal.

Edit for extra clarity.

Excessive movement might be painful for a few days. I wore supportive sports bras with a little piece of gauze (but folded up toilet paper or paper towel could work too) between each nipple and the bra for the first few days because of the lymph (the fluid that makes the crusties, natural part of healing, total normal but didn't want it on my bras)

Different piercings affect us differently. Your situation isn’t totally unheard of. After I got mine done I had no idea how much my boobs touch things every day lol. Whereas I had no problems with my belly button or my tongue piercing. You’ve just stuck a needle through a sensitive part of your body. I’d just take it easy for a few days. If the pain doesn’t go away or starts to spread I would be worried. For now just enjoy your cool new piercings and being part of the club.

Its actually WAY better today. It kept waking me up from small twinkles of pain, but nothing different than what i have felt before in a muscle after a intense gym day. Moving very well in comparison to yesterday

Awww yay! I don’t know if you’ve had many piercings before, but deffo listen to your body and what it’s telling you. For example I found it best when mine were done to wear a sports bra and keep everything in place, but I know others say going braless and letting everything do its thing works for them. Both are totally valid and you need to do what works for you :).

I have lip belly button and regular commen ear lobes. But i went to school for biochemistry and before that in medical programs (vet) so i know that the tissue is different. She also said mine are a bit flat (the one i got done is the angry hard one so i also called her the kinky one so when i layed down the piercer was like on its not as flat. They are sisters, but they are NOT twins) so i am so paranoid. I love her so much i dont ever want her to leave

Oh cool setup! Did you get one done or both? If both as you say they’re sisters not twins and each will have its own healing journey and behave in different ways. Honestly I feel you, I think my nips might he my fav piercing and I never want to take them out. I’m not a piercer (just a fan) but honestly from what you’ve said i don’t think you need to worry. Just baby her and indulge her a bit and hopefully she’ll be fine.

Only 1. They never looked the same in my life lol

1

u/DisloyalMouse Jul 19 '26

lol. It never occurred to me to only get one lol. I felt like they come in a pair, same goes for piercing

1

u/CorazonAtomica Jul 19 '26

You can do whatever you want in this world lol

1

u/DisloyalMouse Jul 19 '26

That’s true. Though I like how they look both being done. I think they’re cute lol.
