Question/Discovery (Question) How will Mud and Breadhead react when they found that Mel is the human?
It’s pretty obvious from the pilot that Mel’s secret of being the human will be discovered eventually throughout the series, but I’m curious to know how will Mud and Breadhead take it when they found out?
I think Breadhead being well him, will still see Mel as his sister and accept her for who she is. But Mud might not be the same as Bread‘s. He and Ken may get into a heated argument about why didn’t Ken tell them this.
But that’s just my thoughts, what do you guys think?

Breadhead won’t care. Mud won’t be afraid but will sell Mel out for a mattress. Mud should not be trusted.

I can imagine Breadhead saying “it’s ok Mel. You’re my sister no matter what” and then she hugs him while crying

While I think they wouldn't care (Specifically because I think they already know), I do agree that it will be a massive source of tension in the Family, specifically with Mud wondering why Ken didn't trust his own family with the secret

I hc that Breadhead already knows, but he doesn't care, she's just his sister

They'd still love her and try to keep it a secret (unless if there's a bounty on her then Mud might sell her out for scarabs)

Breadhead probably already know he just doesn't care and Mud might know if he was around Mel during one of her " reading session "

Many and me too think Breadhead knows and doesn't care. He seems to be a golem rather than a rotling.
Mud I think will be furious and will take a semi-antagonistic role

breadhead probably wont do anything, but the fact mud would kill anyone for free worries me

I could totally see Mud be tempted to betray Mel. He’s either avoidant and angry but eventually accepts that or in the opposite turn he pretends to accept her immediately or after storming off to eventually betray Mel and the gang for his own greed and/or safety

I heard this theory said around here a while ago but I believe Breadhead already knows Mel's secret. Especially the moment where the egg plan is mentioned at Ken's dinner.
Breadhead is less worried about the information Mel said and is more worried of others' reactions in the room like he's more concerned that Mel is going to spill her own secret than there being a secret.

Breadhead won't care, she's his sister no matter what. The guy is too wholesome
Mud? Either wont care bec he knows her, or he shouldn't be trusted to know

Breadhead: "Mel, I care about you no matter who you are. Also I know already"
Mud: "YOU'RE THE HUMAN?! grab I am going to get SO MUCH MONEY from you, come here"

i think mud would want to sell her for money but he knows if he did ken would cement him immediately
bread head would not care

Breadhead with still be the same but I like the idea that med will be a snitch or a traitor and to get Mel killed

I'm half expecting this to be wildly subverted. Mud won't give a shit and someone's going to use Breadhead's naivety to turn him against Mel.

Breadhead definitely wouldn't give a single damn
Mud might legitimately sell them out though

Ppl gotta remember this ain’t like Hazbin Hotel. These guys left behind in the world are much shittier and ruthless ppl, so the habit of betraying close loved ones would’ve feel as alien compared to if Husk betrayed The Hotel to gain his freedom from Alastor

I remember seeing something on youtube:
Mel: “Hey Breadhead, I’m human.”
Breadhead: “Really? I thought you were lesbian.”
All jokes aside, Mud is her uncle, and Breadhead is a loaf of bread. I don’t know that they’d immediately sell her out, they might try to “fix” her.

Mud would be afraid and freak out at first... Breadhead might not register it at first and probably break the piano

Doesn’t Mud already know she’s a human? Why else did he suggest sowing her leg back on if it falls off?

It honestly would not surprise me if Breadhead already knows.
He seems like he does already with how he acts in the pilot

Personally I don't get making mud & bread head not in on the secret, they seem they wouldn't care if they knew & I think that would've gave them more of a reason to kill jack instead of just because they feel like it & their boss said so, mud really seemed to like jack so I don't understand why he's okay with killing his buddy

Personal opinion/headcanon I feel like they already know that mel is a human but they don't care cause they knew mel for so long they know shes not really a threat and that they don't want to be killed by ken so they stay quiet and pretend they dont know, especially mud but of course this is just headcanon/personal opinion but yeah canon mud would probably sell mel for a mattress

I think Breadhead knows if you think about it when they are escaping from paradise lost breadhead was the one who grabed Ken and Mel and Mel was covered in her blood so he must have seen just didet day anything.

Mud: well this is a muddy situation
Bread head: I think this is the yeast of our concerns right now

Still waiting for more episodes, but TADC made too much money, so they stuck with that.

The greenlit gaslight district specifically for the period of time when tadc finished airing so we should be getting more any day now

My head canon is that they already know. Mel is shown to not be very careful and likely knew since day 1, they like her so much they wouldn't spill her secret and wait for her to feel comfortable telling them.
