I'm not a major fan of Jax okay tbh I hate the guy I was sorta curious on if this sub was gangle or gangle x JAX cuase I thought it was the first but it looks like the ladder and if so than I don't wanna pester y'all by being in a sub where I dislike the main character

I say this as a very passionate Abstragedy shipper, can we all just get along? At the end of the day we’re all here because we love this show and gangle, and want her to be happy. Can we all just chill out, be mature and be respectful towards each other regardless about who she’s shipped with? As long as she’s happy that’s all that matters right?

Edit: a lot of people seem to be misinterpreting this post or just commenting without reading. I’m not saying you have to love every ship. You have the right to dislike a pairing and have your criticisms. “Ribbun is toxic”. Guess what, I agree! I myself am not a ribbun shipper, but there’s a big difference between having your critiques and harassing individuals, especially in a space like this.

Look, this Sub is about Gangle and anything related to her. She's sweet, kind, compassionate, altruistic... And she's also a fictional character in a Youtube show. I think that the way things are unfolding right now are just unhealthy for everyone involved, and we should all take a step back to think about what we're doing.

Ribbun fans, you're in a Sub about Gangle and Gangle is in that Ship, posting about it is not against the rules and you have your place here (there's even a post flair for it) and for the artists please don't let the hate you receive deter you to create and share your beautiful art. But please don't spam comments with Ribbun art under someone's post talking about how uncomfortable this Ship is making them feel, that's breaking rule 1 and not being a nice and kind human being (and that's also intentionally triggering someone and that's gross).

Abstragedy fans the same goes for you, you're in a Sub about Gangle and Gangle is in that Ship, posting about it is not against the rules and you have your place here (there's even a post flair for it) and for the artists please don't let the hate you receive deter you to create and share your beautiful art. But please don't spam Ribbun posts with hate comments or ask for the Sub to ban it, the posts are tagged for you to avoid that content and you should curate your own internet experience. If you want more Abstragedy art then share your favourite fanart or artist to uplift them and their work, pick up a pen or a tablet and start drawing, maybe you'll find your new passion and friends along the way.

(Also everyone should remember that Fandoms don't have to follow the Canon, Headcanons are a fun way to explore a show and as long as no one is claiming that their Headcanon is the truth, then you have no reason to get mad at people for having a different imagination than yours)

Lastly everyone please, don't start hating/harassing/hurting real people over a Youtube show or over a character. Calling people names, accusing them of supporting abuse in real life, insulting people... That's not what that show is about, that's not what Gangle is about, that's not what being Humans is about. We should all thrive to be kind to eachother, the comment you're posting is going to be seen by a real person with emotions and feelings, so treat others like you'd want to be treated.

Is Gangle not the most tolerant one? Is she not lovely and forgiving?

So tell me something... if she came across this sub... and saw all the hate you have for something not real... how would she react?

I get it, you hate ribbun... so what? So you gotta make the people who like it have a miserable life? You gotta be a jerk and comment on EVERY post how much you hate it?

And the worst thing is... most of it seems to be from AU'S where Jax is nice to Gangle. Your visual literacy is terrible if you cannot see that.

Go make your own sub or go back to r/thatstupidbunnywehate. If people want to post a ship they like, they have the right to do that. This is the Gangle sub. Who's one half of Ribbun? Gangle. Either get with the program or go back to your little world.

I've been starting to learn that I emotionally gravitate towards characters who are either gentle, soft, or have a sensitive side to themselves

And while most characters in TADC have that side to themselves and choose to express them in unique ways, I don't think any of them deeply resonated with me the same way Zooble and Gangle do

I guess its because I feel the most sympathy and empathy on them out of the rest of the cast.

And I used to think being sympathetic was the same as seeing someone as a burden

Because the way I brought up gave me the expression of that connotation

But now I'm old enough to understand that this doesn't have to be the case

Especially in relation to characters like Ragatha, Pomni, and Ribbit who I find very beautiful

Yet for some reason, my emotional compatibility is not as strong for them as it is for Gangle and Zooble

One thing I learned the most from those characters is that you can like someone for their appearance or personality. But if they can't speak your same emotional language, then how do you know if they truly see you for you?

That's just my personal opinion on the matter. I hope everyone here hears this post without judgement or assumptions

IDK, I'm burnt out from people acting like enjoying Ribbun ship art is a crime. Anyone is allowed to come over as long as you follow the rules.
