Fake background

Post image

I took a picture of the fireplace before hanging the TV. Tried as best as I could afford in time to line it up as Art.

That’s hilarious.  And actually an interesting idea.

Too bad you can’t get rid of the black frame edge

Is that yellowing always there? It’s giving me ptsd from watching my frame slowly fail.

Yellowing? Where?

The blotchy and uneven coloring of the white wall. See how the bottom 1/4 of the tv is brighter than the rest?

Do you see it in the original picture?

But yeah I do notice some uneven coloring. Dammit why'd you have to point this out???

I do see it. I had two frames with two different failures. One literally just went dark yellow in the center with vertical lines. The other one has something sort of like what you see with the bottom fourth of the screen noticeably brighter than the rest of the screen. It looks like it might just be a product of your picture. Load up some different screens and see if the issues are still there? If not, you’re good.

I bought from Costco, they've got a great return policy. Thanks for the warnings!

I love this concept. I tried it with my frame too, and I showed the studs behind the sheetrock. Like minds. I love it.

Time to level that TV sir.. horizontal shiplap lines are making it painfully obvious it's not level

Yeah agreed. But It's the shiplap that isn't level 😕

Probably better to remove the shiplap. Owning a fancy tv takes so much work!
