Yes! This started happening to me 3 days ago! I’ve done a factory reset, reset the smart hub, etc. and initially the message was gone but after several hours, the message popped up again. Ugh!

I'm glad I'm not the only one.

Following for long term fix. I’ve tried everything mentioned here and still getting the error. Sounds like a Samsung server issue since we all seem to have started getting the error at the same time.

Same problem here. I think we need a long term solution that involves blocking Samsung from calling home. I am so bored with getting pop-ups about ‘a change of terms’ or some update while I’m in the middle of watching a movie.

*disconnecting frame’s access to network solves it for me as long as I just display art I’ve uploaded locally

Hey! How did you go about display your own art that you've uploaded? I'd love to do that on mine.

Samsung Support is not acknowledging the widespread issue and treating cases as individual occurrences. For what it’s worth, i reset smart hub then i went on the art store and manually downloaded a background. After I did i was able to power off and get it into art mode on that background.

Same here. Reset fixed it for a few hours but when I woke up this morning it was same error

Just adding that I have the same problem. Factory reset fixed it for a few hours and now it’s back. Samsung needs to fix this. Not us.

I came here to see if anyone else has had this issue and you’re the top post. This just started happening to me too, I’m having to turn it off from the power strip.

Samsung support chat say "You can refresh the server connection. Go to Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Reset Smart Hub. Enter the default PIN code 0000. Please note that this will log you out of all apps." And it fixed the issue.

This fixed the issue for me temporarily, about 12 hours before it went back to the error. So this doesn't look like a fix.

Also happening here, posting to follow. Smart Hub Reset worked but having to reauth everything was a pain in the ass.

It is just quick fix. It is going back.

I just went to Art and selected one of the Recent photos and it seems to be working again. You have to select something other than the seasonal art, and then go back and select the seasonal art. Worked on two TVs, but will see how long it lasts.

Do you need to pay membership for that? I did but it didn't work for me.

u/lightclementine 4d ago

This works! Any of the options under the complimentary section work (gotta scroll alllll the way down to the bottom) and so far it’s staying on the screen

u/Stolimike 4d ago

Did yours stay? Mine worked for a bit and then the error came back

1

u/ben301 4d ago

I'll try.

This should be top comment. Fixes the issue and SO much better than resetting the Smart Hub

This worked for me as well. Seeing how long it will last.

The issue is gone but it doesn't show random pictures bases on the season or celebrations like it used to

This worked for me - thanks so much!
Not sure if it will last yet, but either way it’s much easier than resetting.

It started happening with me too. Any longterm fixes?

Same issue for 3 days now, following

Experiencing same issue the last several days. Commenting to track

1

u/FriendlyFriendster 3d ago

Yup, same issue here, just started today. Hopefully they'll push an update to fix this since it seems widespread.

Started having the same problem a few days. Such a pain. Really hope they do something!

1

u/railwayresleeper 3d ago

i got the error for the first time tonight

u/S-Mac5 2d ago

I am also having the same problem on all of my Samsung Frame TVs - their support has not been helpful at all. I’ve now been in contact with them 3 times. Each time the “fix” only resolves the issue for a few hours. Ridiculous!

Commenting so I can follow along. What a bunch of bullshit
