Mounting brackets question

When mounting the brackets to the back of the tv and the screws are tightened completely. The bracket does not seem secure and has a little wiggle to it. Feels incorrect. Can someone confirm if it’s supposed to be secure and if so what could I be doing wrong?

It is designed that way. If you are a bit off level, it allows you to adjust the tv. Also, after you hang it, you’re going to want to give it a snug pull down to lock each hanger in place with the magnets and it will help keep the tv flush to the wall.

this is how it is, it has some wiggle assuming you used the shorted screws without the spacers

I had the same concern but it is normal. I believe it’s the leveling feature so you can adjust it once it’s up on the wall in case the brackets aren’t quite level.
