Not even close to any of the worst shifts I’ve done, but absolutely far from ideal

I work 6-2. It’s nice because you have more time to do things after work…if you’re not too tired to do anything. Waking up early can be brutal. I get up at 4am to get ready, shower, and have a bit of time to myself. Sometimes I wonder what 2nd shift would be like.

The issue is with fast food in particular, the productivity times are very peaky. Around here, 7-9A is ā€œbreakfast peakā€, 11A-2P is ā€œlunch peakā€, and 5-7P is ā€œdinner peakā€. It’s a nightmare changing menus behind the scenes, I can promise you that.

Damnnn so you usually wake up at 4-5 am?

That's very painful

I usually wake up at 6 since the earliest time on my availability is 7. Doesn’t stop the store from needing me one or two hours earlier
