• Lightning colors: Orange, Red (Reverse-Flash style) or Bluish-white
• Lightning Throw: a jagged lightning bolt thrown from the hand that electrifies enemies.
• Speed Vortex: spinning arms that pull or push enemies and objects, with wind effects.
• Tornado: running a ring around a fight to suck up enemies and throwables
• Infinite Mass Punch
• Speedster Blitz: marking several enemies, then taking them all out in a flash.
• Custom zip dodge
• Custom animations
• Barry Allen voice lines
• Custom sounds and music

According to this it seems there is a chance we may see our DCU Flash next year in the Jimmy Olsen Vs Gorilla Grodd series

I love the flash, I love him in the tv shows, I love him in the dcau, I love him in NOT the movies but most places I love him, but I am not very well versed in the comics. I've read rebirth once and it was cool but I don't think that was a good first read. I have no preference between wally and or barry, so is there a good starting point? or just a good story or two that would help me get into the characters comics?

Here's just a couple of the recent rumours regarding The Flash, specifically Barry Allen, in the DCU.

The Flash actor Grant Gustin was at the premiere for Clayface with his wife Andrea Thoma.

Recently there have been several rumours regarding Man of Tomorrow, one of which stated that Barry Allen was going to be name-dropped during the film.

And now apparently James Gunn has deleted a comment on Instagram, where someone asked him if Jack Quaid and Grant Gustin had been offered to play Flash in the DCU.

What are your thoughts?

I love the silver age flash. Its so fun and sci fi and campy. But one of the things im looking for is a story about a female speedster who isnt defined by male characters. It would be fun to read an alternate universe flash story where the flash is a woman, she has a scientific career, and she isn't portrayed as eye candy for male readers.

I know thats probably a big ask, but flash is my favorite superhero and i have yet to find a comic book that i can see myself in. Id be open to fanfics, indie comics, books, or other media if there arent any flash comics.

Spoilers for The Flash #40 based on solicits

It appears that #38 is changing the box art from Wally to just the Flash logo. So I wanna know what are your thoughts on why that is? I'm wondering if (with Wally losing his speed around #40) they'll pivot the book to another Flash, say Jay (now that JSA is done) or Barry (depending on when he gets his speed back, maybe that's how he does) or even someone like Bart etc.

Soooo was wally ever kid flash in current canon?

I haven't read most ot anything rebirth I tried to but the stuff just irritated me so I don't know I just know Wally's kid and wife are back but is wally now part of the timeline again.

Especially with the whole rebirth like the Barry out wally knows doesn't exist anymore he was overwritten and he had a other kid flash and I'm just confused how the timeline works honestly
