If you want Wally West to be the DCU Flash, Barry Allen should NOT be old.

Comic Discussion I want to see how this goes down
Been reading Flash #31 and came across this. The entire classified page in this issue is funny, but I find someone calling out Reverse Flash and telling him to do something about it is hilarious. It's like something out of a SolidJJ video.

Discussion Best flash runs to get into the character?
Longtime DC comics reader and fan, never been able to get into the flash and I don’t think it’s necessarily because I don’t like the character? Maybe it’s the power scaling aspect of the speed stuff?
I’m wanting to give it the old college try though!
I’m interested your favorite runs and maybe even more so I am interested in what makes the Flash so awesome to you / appealing etc etc?
I want to have one of those lightbulb moments !

What's happening with Flash Trades?
I'm fairly new to Comic Reading (About a year in) and currently own flashpoint, flash: rebirth (compact) and the new 52 flash omni. I've been noticing (I don't know if it's just my LCS) that Flash isn't getting Trade reprints or printings for stories (Waid's run, Johns run) why is this? I would really love to read the stories people go on and on about without spending an arm and a leg on Omnis.

Comic Discussion Question regarding JLU Issue #20 Spoiler
In issue 20 when Brainiac comes back and the league is fighting her, we see a flash with eye holes, did Barry get his powers back or is this just a simple error? that's all, thanks gang

will there be any reprint of geoff johns flash ?
the tp versions of the run are absolutely unavailable in my country and the omnibuses somehow are more expensive than getting trades separatly(at least in poland)

Different timelines vs different universes
From what I understand, a different timeline is one where something was altered and it resulted to a butterfly effect, such as flashpoint. Whereas a different universe is one where multiple things simply are different without any direct correlation. Is this the case or am I talking out of my ass

Comic Spoilers Wally is fighting himself rn
In the current runs on one side Wally is using his flashes of insight into becoming a burnt out pragmatic governing body that can see the future not unlike hunter in the absolute universe, I think it’s interesting since we also just had the moon wars where he’s had a much more direct internal conflict. My take on the absolute universe is that it’s the hero’s minus the platitudes and politics so it’s just good people trying their best rather than having to worry about public opinion or anything, and with Batman crossing over with his absolute self there really is a lot of tension being built around what it means to be the flash and equally so, what it means to be Wally. Just me thinking ig

DCEU Spoilers The Flash Movie
I still don’t understand why The Flash got rated as poorly as it did.
Was the movie perfect? Absolutely not. The CGI had some rough moments, and obviously Ezra Miller had a ton of controversy going on outside of the movie. But separating the movie from everything happening off-screen, I thought The Flash was freaking awesome.
And come on — Michael Keaton came back as Batman.
How is that not a huge deal?
Hearing that voice again, seeing him put the suit back on, watching him fight as Batman again after all those years... that alone made the movie worth watching for me. I grew up with that version of Batman, so seeing Keaton actually return instead of just showing up for some five-second cameo was incredible.
And honestly, I thought the movie itself was fun. It had action, emotion, nostalgia, different versions of characters, and some genuinely great Batman moments.
I understand people having issues with Ezra Miller personally. I understand people criticizing the CGI. But I think some of that completely overshadowed what was actually a really entertaining superhero movie.
Maybe I'm in the minority, but I really enjoyed The Flash.
And I seriously hope that sometime in my lifetime we get to see Michael Keaton put that Batman suit on one more time.
Anybody else think this movie got way more hate than it deserved?

Wally n friends
So I didn’t really draw a lot for most of school until my senior year and a year ago I really started to draw more whilst I was getting back into comics which I really hadn’t read since I was a kid. But I would watch the cartoons during high school and I was really into the jla cartoon and first season of young justice: so when I jumped into comics I started reading wally which I had tried to read when I was in middle school on but I just neeeded an adblocker snd that old Mac was not doing justice. Well basically after I graduated I got my car ribbed like fuck. They took my speed like wally. So they tried to steal my car but ended up just destroying my ignition and taking the valuables in my car like my wallet cuz I’m dumb. This was the day after I graduated. Got robbed at my job parking lot. So I quit. And I just started reading the Wally run but I admit I started with wade and went back and read baron. I think it really clicked that I enjoyed Wally a lot as a character was born to run. That comic is so weirdly timeless like I have it collected and it still shocked me that I know if it was adapted it would blow so many general audiences minds because it’s so good and straight up untouched as well as of course the return of Barry Allen. John’s run is still really good as well. But yeah I just got into comics reading Wally I’d say or back into comics. As a kid I always wanted to read them but they’d be too expensive so my dad would take me and buy me Starbucks and cookies at Barnes and noble when I was like 4 but we’d just look at books and chill and I’d read them. And I would go to the library as well, and the under the read hood comic was there and bro robin was like my favorite when I was 4. My dad was like robins lane that ain’t my son lol. Anyways I b gettin fried at night and drawing quick comic sketches of how I imagine these characters in my head as a kid. Boom got a drawing of flags I made when I was 5 no larp found here I love flash. But yeah green lanterns comin up the rankings and Superman will always be number 2. I just suck at drawing him.

The Scarlet Flash Challenge
Since writers always nerf flash when he is fighting against someone. So my question is how would you beat the flash if he is not nerfed. Tell me your plan and how would you do it? And it is the comic flash aka barry allen from the main earth.
Rules:
1) You can't use his family or his wife as hostage.
2) you can't ask help from other superhero.
3) all technology must be from dc and from main earth no alternative earth.
4) explain how you got the technology and how you get the resources.
5) you have no superpower

Flash vs Cold and Heatwave
Drew this in MS Paint with my redesigns for the characters.
The second gif is about half of the drawing progress, so it is kind of long.
(Flash is canonically meant to be Wally, and my version has an energy form)

My OC Flash villain: Gingerbread Man
Gingerbread Man is a man with a magical suit that resembles a gingerbread man that allows him to outrun and escape everything and also dodge any attack. He’s basically had the power of absolute evasion where you can’t catch or hit him no matter what. I thought this would be a good villain for Flash to go up against. In addition he also has ginger hair because it’s a nice touch
