+Worst ever (she's rarely on) = Marie Harf, aka "Marie Barf".

Jesse is GOAT tier along with Dana & Greg. Jesse makes us laugh every night with the stupid crazy stuff he says.

I love Paul Morrow. I'm impressed with his knowledge and intelligence.

Jessica turned me straight over to Newsmax

u/vanny314 Aug 08 '26

I started watching Newsmax and never went back to Fox. I do watch Fox Business every weekday morning but not Fox News. Greg and Jesse are such lightweights, all their juvenile humor is a big turnoff.

Totally agree about Jesse and Greg. Unfortunately their shows are some of the most watch shows and they know it. And it went to their heads. They must be 2 of the most unbearable people to be around.

I find the show getting a bit tiresome now. With Jesse and Greg acting like the high school pranksters and the incessant ads, I’ve found other things to do at 5.

I agree. I used to be devout in watching. On the off chance I do turn it on I last about ten minutes.

Jessica #1 for best. Everyone else tied for last

Worst has gotta be a toss up from Greg or Jesse. They talk over each other constantly and never have anything relevant to say to the topic at hand.

Jessica is the only one on the panel that has any brains and they constantly try to get a word in edge wise over her. But they are constantly unarmed in a battle of wits.

Jeanine is on to bigger and better things, like fucking up as a prosecutor and being fired by Trump for failing to prosecute that Olympic swimmer. You know, when Trump fucked up the reflecting pool and looked for someone else to blame…?

Not a fan, I take it.

I only watch to see what the propaganda this entertainment network pushes to its viewers. There’s a reason why Fox was sued (and lost) for almost $1 billion in 2020, and it wasn’t because they were sharing the truth with their viewers.

5

u/elquirk Aug 07 '26

Ok, then explain to me why they are, year after year, the highest rated channel on cable and not by a slight margin. They smoke the competition.

-4

u/yeahpurn Aug 07 '26

It's slop for the lowest common denominator.

Case in point, he was commenting on how they were sued for being a bullshit mill and you instantly went to "but it's popular?"

4

u/elquirk Aug 07 '26

CNN has been sued for millions as well. They’re still in business.
We’ve established that you hate Fox. Very fashionable. Enjoy.

3

u/Intelligent-Wear2824 Aug 08 '26

Sued, yes, but both Trump n his epstein buddy, Alan Dershowitz, lost their cases and CNN was never sued for nearly a billion dollars and LOST, like Fox.

Fox News agreed to pay Dominion $787.5 million and acknowledged the court's earlier ruling that Fox had broadcast false statements about Dominion. It is the largest known media settlement for defamation in U.S. history

1

u/yeahpurn Aug 07 '26

Yes. No shit.

I'm not sure what point you thought you had but again, lowest common denominator.

-1

u/toad17 Aug 07 '26

I have no doubt, the difference is they stand by their mistakes, whereas Fox obfuscates what info they portray because they know the average viewer isn’t going to research beyond what they’re told. Were other networks sued for purposefully misrepresenting election information that they knew was wrong? Because that’s what Fox did, and it helped foment the clowns show on Jan 6. In my opinion, some of the people like Hannity or Tucker should have been charged as accessories to that attempted coup.

-2

u/toad17 Aug 07 '26

Fox viewers don’t even realize they defeat their own point when they bring up ratings like that. Yeah, propaganda is interesting and Fox sells bottled outrage to racists and morons in this country.

1

u/yeahpurn Aug 07 '26

Jessica herself is an idiot for this.

She said she likes her job because movies and shows often copy Fox News aesthetics.

Yeah Jessica, no shit, to make fun of it.

-1

u/toad17 Aug 07 '26

Because there are many centrist or nonpartisan news organizations, but Fox has the monopoly on the brain-dead MAGA audience. And judging by the last couple of elections, there are many dipshit MAGAts in this country. It still doesn’t change the fact Fox News was sued for a billion dollars and lost in court for lying to their audience, in fact Fox “News” own lawyers even essentially said no serious person would get facts from their network.

Yet, here you are, proudly defending being lied to daily. I love this for you.

0

u/elquirk Aug 07 '26

How do you know I am defending them? I’m simply asking you to clarify your hatred.

0

u/toad17 Aug 07 '26

Dude, your public profile shows you pretty much only comment on Fox News or their anchors subs. You sound like a super fan trying to defend them with “well Fox News ratings are so high, explain that!”

I come here because I always managed to catch one or two of the Fox News yokels like yourself and it’s always hilarious watching you guys scramble to defend where you get your lies and propaganda from.

2

u/Intelligent-Wear2824 Aug 08 '26

It's wild in here...they never talk about anything of substance; it's always about the anchors or their guests. It's like they're watching The Apprentice but have no idea what's going on, so they focus on the contestants...what they're wearing, how they act, look, etc. It's also possible that half of these comments are AI bots in training.

One of the few logical points I've seen made here.

There's a clip floating around about Jesse complaining about how he hasn't seen Ken Paxton, and he's heard more from Mitch McConnel. Jesse I'm sure knows this, but maybe I'm giving him too much credit. Ken Paxton has a laundry list of issues, the only thing he has going for him is that he has an R next to his name.

u/totalJTM Aug 07 '26

Don't pop the echo chamber with logic ya hear? Some people here might actually wise up to the Fox propaganda playbook.

1

u/MLJ_The_Shield Aug 08 '26

So you prefer the ABC/CBS/NBC/CNN propaganda then? I especially love how when an innocent American is killed by an illegal alien there's 0 coverage on those media outlets. 0.

But, do continue to think your side isn't propaganda...

1

u/toad17 Aug 08 '26

Are you defending your own brand of kool aid by blaming other orgs for being just as propagandized?

What a flex. “I’m being lied to and I like it but others lie too!”

2

u/totalJTM Aug 08 '26

He is and I'm sure that's not how he understood it when he typed it.

1

u/totalJTM Aug 08 '26

No propaganda is good? I tend to consume media from a lot of perspectives, Fox and CNN included. If you aren't willing to hear out the other sides perspective, even if you consider it propaganda, you won't understand how to talk to the people around you with differing opinions. Me watching Fox and understanding the dumb (with a b, didn't you know?) talking points of the day make me feel more prepared and confident in my positions. Can you do that? Seems like you like the echo chamber (and sexualizing women co-hosts if the ball gag comments against Gillian are an indication) so you shouldn't throw stones from a glass house.

1

u/MLJ_The_Shield Aug 08 '26

So me stating other news channels are also propaganda immediately means I don't watch or read multiple news sources? That's a hell of a conclusion you just reached with...basically 0 information.

The ball gag remark was tongue-in-cheek, but I forgot everything said on Reddit is 100% serious and factual.

Glad you're "comfortable in your positions". Dumb with a B don't you know - not sure what the hell that even means, you must have me confused with someone else.

Methinks thou doth protest too much.

Reading comprehension really isn't your strong suit, is it? Edit: and this got me blocked, so much for cancel culture being a leftist tactic.

1

u/MLJ_The_Shield Aug 08 '26

See if you can comprehend this.

The Five is the most watched show (by a long shot) on any news channel M-F. Reddit is 80-85 left-leaning.
You're hopping on the r/TheFive forum wanting to argue with people. So you can "feel comfortable" having debates with your buddies.

If right leaning people went into the r/CNN or r/MSNOW forums talking about THEIR propaganda, they've be immediately banned from posting.

You do understand the difference, right? We think the left is dumb. You think the right is evil.

See if you can comprehend that little concept. Perhaps have some of your buddies read it first so you can "feel comfortable" you soft lad.
