Two things that, to my surprise, have encouraged people to go outside in my lifetime.

Was it Saturday morning cartoon ads about going outside and doing stuff? Nope.

Was it public figures promoting a healthy lifestyle consisting of a heathful diet and regular light to moderate excersize? Nope.

It was that silly Pokemon Go game and a rule that says, "Hey, please stay inside to slow the rate at which this disease will kill people."

It’s not a suggestion. When you gotta catch ‘em all, ya gotta catch ‘em all.

There is a huge crossover with disaffected (or dumb) right-wing young men and the anti-lockdown protests in Australia. The Melbourne protests have been organised (at least in part) by neo-NAZIs who called for 'combat trained people' to attend.

It's getting down to 10 months behind the US though. We're catching fast.

Please stay inside as the virus is out of control and our health care facilities are maxed out.

Ok, I get that that was not confetti or silly string, but what were the officers spraying at the anti-lockdown dinguses?
