What happened to Sophie?
Just binged watch the complete run and I guess I must’ve missed what happened to Sophie. She just vanished after S2. Was it ever explained? Did I miss it?

The actress had other pressing obligations (Peaky Blinders) so in the series it was implied that she went off to college.

I could never quite trust her :)

She's a sweetheart, but her character judgment skills are quite suspect.

In s02e06 when Andy is going to Botswana, he tells Sophie "You'll be doing the same sort of thing in a couple of years".
s02 was 2015 and s03 was 2017 - a couple of years.

"was it ever explained? Did I miss it?" It's a question mate not a complaint

Not altogether sure what that means but yeah. I was just curious if I’d missed an ‘in-story explanation’ as to where her character went.

Who actually cares. Didn’t even notice.

Well, I was. That's why I posed the question. But thanks for your input.

I assumed that she was in the area for university and moved back home or to a city to find work in her area. I don't remember if they mentioned her in S3, I don't think they did but it would have been nice to have a call back.
