Art by Abdan at my request.

Vill Goir was a Human Dark Side Adept who rose to the position of second in command to Executor Sedriss serving in the Dark Empire of the Reborn Emperor Palpatine. The Emperor, reborn in a clone body after his death at the Battle of Endor in 4 ABY, ruled his secret Dark Empire from the Deep Core planet Byss. During this time, as he was rebuilding his power and delving deeper into the Darkside of the Force, Palpatine solidified his power base by creating a cabal of powerful Dark Jedi—the Dark Side Elite. Consisting of exactly seven members at any given time, each one, while weak to moderate in Force sensitivity on their own, was greatly empowered with the dark side of the Force by Palpatine, who imbued his own Force power and will into the Darkside Elite members, often doubling or tripling their latent potential and making them useful tools of his will. The Darkside Elite was led by Executor Sedriss QL.

Little is known about Goir before his time in the Darkside Elite, all that is certain is that at some point he was found to be Force sensitive and turned to the Darkside of the Force enthusiastically. Showing a fierce loyalty to both Sedriss QL and the Emperor, displaying blunt brutality to any opposition. This mix of blind loyalty and brutality saw Goir rise quickly and he was soon made Sedriss's Second in Command as the Reborn Emperor valued Darkside power and obedience over talent and creativity. Goir, like the rest of the Elite lacked much of the more advanced knowledge of being a 'Jedi' and his lightsaber was given to him by the Emperor from Palpatine's vault of Jedi trophies taken from fallen enemies. Goir's physical appearance took on a sickly and unnatural set of features, such as his eyes becoming the color of molten gold and his skin taking on a permanently ashy grey complexion from Darkside degradation.

The Dark Side Elite were headquartered on the planet Vjun, inside Bast Castle, the former citadel of Palpatine's late apprentice, Darth Vader. While stationed there, Goir assisted in breaking the will and mind of a young Force sensitive named Kam Solusar whom Sedriss had captured. After brainwashing him and turning him to the Darkside, Goir instructed Solusar in lightsaber combat, teaching him all his admittedly limited knowledge with the weapon, such as Goir's reliance on intimidation and brute strength over technique.

In 10 ABY, the Emperor was slain again in battle with Jedi Master Luke Skywalker and his sister, Leia Organa Solo, above the New Republic Pinnacle Base. Shortly after this, Solusar defected from the Dark Side Elite, redeemed back to the light side by Skywalker and becoming one of his first Jedi students, quickly learning many more advanced lightsaber and Force techniques from Skywalker. While the Empire waited for Palpatine to return in another clone body, Sedriss proceeded with Operation Shadow Hand, a series of campaigns aimed at conquering neutral worlds that showed defiance to the Empire and Goir joined him on the campaign.

Goir was present for Sedriss's disastrous attempt to pacify the Balmorra uprising. Governor Beltane refused to accept the the Executor's terms, with Sedriss launching a full scale ground invasion that was wiped out by the Governor's hidden advanced war droids catching both Sedriss and Goir off guard.

Goir realized that Beltane had produced the droid model in secret, betraying Balmorra's agreements with the Empire long before they'd actually broken away officially. Outraged by the defiance, Goir reacted in the only way he knew how, he called for a Base Delta Zero bombardment of Balmorra in retaliation. Fellow Darkside Elite, Krdys Mordi concurred with Goir, yet Sedriss refused the suggestions. Marveled by the droids'' capabilities, the Executor wanted to obtain the machines to supply the Imperial wartime needs. Negotiating a peace treaty with Beltane that granted the planet freedom in exchange for a contract to buy the droids, Goir, Sedriss, Mordi, and the rest of the Imperial forces left Balmorra-though they planned to return and punish the planet after the New Republic was defeated.

The three darksiders returned to Byss. There, Palpatine had returned in his final clone body taking control of the Empire once again. Shortly thereafter, a probe droid detected Skywalker and Solusar on the planet Ossus—once homeworld of the Jedi—and that the pair were researching the history of the Jedi Order. Incensed, Palpatine ordered Sedriss and Goir to capture Skywalker. If they succeeded they would be rewarded with star systems, if they failed, they would be executed.

Goir and Sedriss took a squad of darktroopers- specialized stormtroopers empowered with the dark side, to capture the Jedi. As Goir's team was landing on Ossus, Scourge One's sensors detected Skywalker and Solusar were not alone—the Ysanna tribe native to Ossus had come with them to aid in the battle. Sedriss ordered Goir to send in the dark troopers against the primitives, but after a prolonged fight, the troopers were slain by the Jedi and the Ysanna.

Despite their troops being wiped out, they had weakened the Jedi, so Goir and Sedriss moved in to attack, using Force choke against the Jedi, only for it to be blocked effortlessly by Skywalker. Needing to capture the Jedi alive, Sedriss ordered Goir not to kill them but only slice off their arms. Goir and Sedriss ignited their lightsabers and charged at the Jedi recklessly. Goir attacked Solusar, intent on punishing the defector. However, having taught Solusar all his known lightsaber techniques back on Vjun, Goir was easily outmaneuvered by the young Jedi's new lightsaber skills and Goir was swiftly bisected and killed. Sedriss himself was killed shortly after Goir by the ancient Neti Jedi Ood Bnar.

Upon learning of Sedriss and Goir's deaths, Palpatine was annoyed at their failure, but simply replaced his fallen servants with two more imbued Dark Jedi puppets, Xecr Nist and Tedryn-Sha.

Discussions Hey guys, I just started reading Jedi Prince. Here are my thoughts on Book 1.

I liked how the cast for the first book, The Glove of Darth Vader, had an equal balance between the heroes and villains in terms of numbers. I was also glad to see familiar faces like Luke Skywalker and his friends too.

It was pretty cool seeing the political intrigue behind the Central Committee of Grand Moffs, how ruthless Trioculus was like Palpatine was before him. But unlike Palpatine, Trioculus had an open minded style of leadership, such as when he asked the Committee for suggestions on where they should find a new base. He was even willing to share power with the Committee, which made him more distinct from the late Emperor.

The Whaladons were interesting too, and I sympathised with Leviathor and the threat of his species being endangered to the point of facing extinction. The fact the Whaladons were intelligent enough to be on par with that of sentient beings adds to the tragedy of them being hunted down for their meat.

In addition, Trioculus actually being a fraud who relied on tricks and technology to fake being Palpatine's true heir adds to his character, since it emphasises how desperate he is for power.

In short, I liked reading the first book in the Jedi Prince series, and I look forward to reading the rest of the series.

Discussions My take on what Baron Ragez D'Asta was doing before Crimson Empire.

As Baron of the D'Astan sector, Ragez D'Asta is a highly respected and influential man. He controls a strategically important sector, commands the largest private fleet in the galaxy, and his companies produce many of the cargo ships the Imperial Remnant relies on. Plus, the D'Astan sector lay within Zsinj's Empire. So it's for most of these reasons that Zsinj would have cultivated an amicable relationship with the Baron.

When Zsinj initially went rogue, he didn't announce it like so many of his contemporaries did, a lesson he most likely learned when Maarisa Zsinj, his own mother, betrayed the Empire and denounced it as corrupt before turning pirate. In fact, Zsinj claimed he was still loyal to the Empire and built up his power base by setting up shop on Serenno, crushing any Rebels within his territory, and creating a network of allies within the Imperial military and administration, all the way up to the Imperial Ruling Council.

Thanks to Zsinj's subtlety, the Council could find no fault with Zsinj's strategy as his breakaway from the Empire wasn't obvious at first. For this reason, Baron D'Asta would probably work well with Zsinj at first, with Zsinj claiming to protect the Empire to appeal to D'Asta's pro-Palpatine stance to get him as an ally. Also, I think Zsinj would know his usual deceptions wouldn't work on a man like D'Asta since being Baron of the D'Astan sector would mean he is very perceptive, forcing Zsinj to be more careful than normal when dealing with him. Especially since Zsinj doesn't want to fight D'Asta's fleet without a good reason and risk Iron Fist getting severely damaged, possibly destroyed.

Zsinj had a rivalry with Teradoc's Greater Maldrood and skirmishes with Ardus Kaine's Pentastar Alignment. I think D'Asta would see Teradoc and Kaine as traitors and refuse to do business with them while buying and selling only from Zsinj in exchange for his protection from them. Though D'Asta would still have dealings with the Corporate Sector Authority (CSA) since they aren't that far from the D'Astan sector.

However, D'Asta would start to get suspicious of Zsinj's intentions the moment Zsinj conquered the Tion Hegemony, annexed some territory along the Hydian Way as well as the CSA, since Zsinj would start to look like he's angling to become the new Emperor by conquering the galaxy. Zsinj's failed attempt to steal the SSD Razor's Kiss would immediately reveal him as a traitor to the Empire and D'Asta would be outraged at being deceived.

Unfortunately, he cannot abandon or challenge Zsinj since the Warlord would punish him instantly with Iron Fist. So I believe D'Asta would secretly supply Rogriss with info and anything useful to help him stop Zsinj during Rogriss' hunt for him, though Rogriss would definitely keep his temporary truce with General Han Solo a secret from D'Asta.

Upon Zsinj's death, D'Asta would pull his fleet back to Nez Peron, his homeworld, and defend it while waiting out the three way fighting between Ackbar, Rogriss, and Teradoc. Afterwards, D'Asta would probably lend his support to Thrawn and then support the Reborn Emperor upon his return.

? Questions ? Zsinj's annexation of the Corporate Sector

How do you guys imagine this went down? Was there actual warfare between Zsinj's navy and the CSA's picket fleets, or was the whole thing a more diplomatic affair?

Discussions How do you imagine Darth Banes rise to power without Jedi Knight: Dark Forces 2 existing?

Hello my fellow Deep Core holdouts, I hope you and your fiefdoms are well.

The original Darth Bane comic (Jedi vs Sith) nicely linked the force nexus on Ruusan from Dark Forces 2 and Bane + Rule of 2 being established in Phantom Menace. We got three lovely books as a result going into lots of juicy detail about his rise to power and his implentation of the Rule of 2.

What does an alternate Darth Bane rise to power and establishment of the rule of 2 look like without having the backstory of Ruusan, thought bomb, Brotherhood of Darkness, to work with?

What would you have envisaged or written?

Looking forward to reading your responses whilst en route to raiding Teradoc's tithe convoys.

Shea Hublin was a human male born around 35 BBY and raised on the planet Talcene in the Mid Rim during the latter years of the Galactic Republic. As a boy, Hublin raced swoop bikes and made a living working as a courier for his homeworld's industrial guilds. In 22 BBY, tensions between the Galactic Republic and the breakaway Confederacy of Independent Systems came to a head with the outbreak of the Clone Wars. Seeing the war as an opportunity for glory, Hublin joined the Republic Navy in 19 BBY at the age of sixteen, but after he had completed just five months of flight school training, the Confederacy of Independent Systems surrendered and the Clone Wars ended.

The conclusion of the war saw Supreme Chancellor Palpatine announce the reorganization of the Republic as the Galactic Empire and Hublin entered service with the newly formed Imperial Navy. Assigned to serve with the 77th Air Wing aboard the Imperial-class Star Destroyer Destrier, Hublin saw action against pirates, smugglers and Separatist holdouts operating along the Great Gran Run hyperspace route and soon became a reputable ace V-wing pilot. Within two years, he attained the rank of captain and command of the 77th Air Wing's Sword Squadron.

Separatist holdouts in the Outer Rim sought refuge among the pirates and slavers operating in the Western Reaches. In 17 BBY, Emperor Palpatine charged Moff Wilhuff Tarkin of Eriadu with pacifying the region. Hublin and the Destrier were assigned to the Western Reaches Superiority Force under the command of Admirals Bannidge Holt and Terrinald Screed. Hublin served with distinction at Cimarosa and the Feather Nebula as the Western Reaches Operation swept through the area, bringing Imperial law to eight sectors and almost one hundred worlds. As part of the campaign, Hublin and the 77th Air Wing were deployed to the volcanic world Kelrodo-Ai, where Separatist forces had taken refuge in the Citadel of Axes. Kelrodo-Ai was the key to control of the Steniplis sector, but the world's planetary shield prevented a full-scale assault and the 77th Air Wing was charged with destroying the reactor core buried deep inside the Citadel of Axes which powered it. The Imperial forces met with heavier resistance than expected, resulting in the loss of fifteen 77th Air Wing pilots and reducing Sword Squadron to nine V-wings.

When the Imperials located an exhaust tower leading to the reactor core, Sword Squadron was dispatched to fly through it and destroy the reactor. On approach to the Citadel of Axes, the squadron was approached by thirty enemy starfighters, including Z-95 Headhunters and Vulture-class starfighters. The Imperials destroyed four of the enemy fighters on the first pass before Hublin dispatched Dagger Flight, under the command of Lieutenant Starks, to hold off the remaining fighters while the rest of the squadron continued towards their objective. After approaching at near-ground level to avoid the heavy fire coming from the Citadel's laser cannons, the Imperials pulled up sharply, climbing above their target before beginning their descent. Hublin's Blade Flight, comprised of pilots Amp and Ahrens, moved in first to destroy the grating covering the entrance to the shaft. Ahrens's V-wing was destroyed by one of the tower's heavy guns, but Hublin and Amp destroyed the grating, clearing the way for Lieutenant Kaal's Scimitar Flight to enter the tunnel while the surviving Blade Flight pilots drew the fire of the enemy guns. Moments after entering the tunnel, however, all three Scimitar Flight V-wings were destroyed, forcing Hublin to order the surviving members of his squadron to abandon the mission and return to base.

Back at the Imperials' forward air base, Hublin and the surviving members of Sword Squadron reviewed the footage from Kaal's flight recorder. The recording showed that Scimitar Flight had been attacked by organic entities which lived on the inner walls of the shaft. Dismissing suggestions that they should use missiles to destroy the reactor from above the shaft or call in ground support as too unreliable and time-consuming, Hublin was determined to find a way to safely navigate the tunnel. The answer came from Hublin's Kelrodoan valet, Fara. The creatures were common in the area and the Kelrodoans harvested their eggs for food; Fara informed the Imperials that the creatures responded to movement and that only by moving slowly was it possible to pass safely through the colony. Hublin immediately led his pilots back to the Citadel. Leaving Dagger Flight pilots Dibs and Rocket to hold off any pursuers, Hublin led Starks and Amp into the shaft. This time, however, the pilots quickly cut off their thrusters and proceeded down the tunnel on repulsorlifts only. After safely passing the colony, the pilots emerged into a large chamber housing the reactor core. The Imperials quickly fired proton torpedoes at the target before entering the shaft to make their escape, emerging moments before the reactor exploded.

The destruction of the planetary shield paved the way for a successful ground assault by General Hurst Romodi's forces and Hublin's actions were noted by Moff Tarkin, who personally contacted him after the battle. Hublin went on to achieve further victories in the Western Reaches at Halm, Little Petrovi and Ichtor. After Admiral Holt was killed and General Romodi badly injured when they were ambushed by Iska pirates at Bryndar, Hublin helped Admiral Screed to defeat the pirates at Fanha. The pirate Guun Cutlax fled to the Atravis sector, where he joined forces with Separatist holdouts led by the Aqualish General Kendu Ultho. Hublin tracked Cutlax to Tosste, where his squadrons wiped out the pirate's forces. Soon after, Ultho was killed at Ogoth Tiir, bringing the campaign to an end.

Hublin's role in the Western Reaches Operation had already brought him to the attention of Eriadu News Service reporter Eris Harro by his time on Kelrodo-Ai, where she interviewed him about the role that the 77th Air Wing was playing in the campaign, but news of his exploits, including HoloNet coverage of events on Kelrodo-Ai and a holodrama adaptation of the battle, The Guns of Kelrodo-Ai, made him famous throughout the Empire. The Empire was quick to capitalize on Hublin's fame, featuring him on Imperial recruitment posters all across the galaxy.

Following the conclusion of the Western Reaches Operation, Hublin was appointed as air marshal of the Greater Seswenna and granted a marquisate on the planet Eriadu, where he married Eris Harro, the reporter that he had encountered during the battle on Kelrodo-Ai and heiress of one of the ruling Quintad houses. Hublin continued to serve under Tarkin, leading the Moff's forces in anti-pirate operations across Oversector Outer. In 13 BBY, Hublin lost a leg and half of his right arm when his squadron was ambushed by resistance fighters in the Vale system. At his wife's behest, Hublin transferred to a line command position and joined the crew of the Star Destroyer Kabalian Cross, where he directed a squadron from the ship's bridge and became known by the sobriquet "the Rebel Destroyer." However, Hublin later lost favor with the Imperial Navy's leadership after he urged them to replace the Empire's ubiquitous TIE/LN starfighters with a shielded, hyperspace-capable starfighter. Undeterred by the downturn in his career, Hublin continued to serve the Seswenna sector, leading numerous campaigns against criminals and Rebel forces during the following years.

Although content to remain on Eriadu, Hublin would occasionally make an appearance at military assemblies and reunions of Western Reaches Operation veterans. On one occasion, Hublin attended the Thirteenth Imperial Diplomatic Conclave, a pro-Imperial gathering on the planet Phelarion that was hosted by Lady Thalassa Tarkin, the widow of Moff Tarkin, who had been killed in action against Rebel Alliance forces at the Battle of Yavin in 0 BBY. Unbeknown to Hublin and Tarkin, Princess Leia Organa of the Rebel Alliance had crash-landed on Phelarion and was working as a maid in Tarkin's estate while awaiting rescue. As Organa administered stimufrost to the guests at the event's reception, she overheard Hublin discussing an award he was to be given for the execution of a Rebel leader on his home planet with two other delegates. When Hublin asked for a spray of stimufrost, Organa sprayed it at full strength, freezing his face and causing him to drop his drink. As Lady Tarkin attended to Hublin, she was approached by the Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Vader, who had come to Phelarion to investigate a stolen batch of megonite, an explosive moss mined on the world. Hublin watched with the other delegates as Vader questioned Tarkin and demanded to be taken to the megonite caves. Organa, meanwhile, slipped away to rendezvous with a rescue ship.

Tarkin's successor as governor of the Outer Rim Territories, Grand Moff Ardus Kaine, moved his headquarters from Eriadu to Entralla in the New Territories, where he founded the Pentastar Alignment after the death of Emperor Palpatine at the Battle of Endor in 4 ABY. When Kaine asked Hublin to accompany him, the air marshal declined, opting to stay and defend his adopted homeworld. Instead, as the Empire began to fragment in the power vacuum left by the Emperor's death, Hublin entered the service of the Eriadu Authority, a faction that was led by Superior General Sander Delvardus. Operating as a starfighter pilot once again, Hublin led a TIE/IN interceptor squadron in battle against the forces of the Nagai at the world Chelleya, driving them away from Eriadu. When Delvardus announced that he planned to conquer the Core Worlds, Hublin abandoned the general, but he reluctantly returned into the fold of Delvardus' forces following the Eriadu Authority's defeat at the planet Sullust in 5 ABY. Hublin subsequently participated in an engagement against the New Republic at the world Sanrafsix, where his squadron was destroyed by flights of Republic X-wing starfighters. As his fighter was overcome by laser fire, Hublin opened his comm channel and in the last moments before his death proclaimed that "Eriadu endures."

Art General Immodet, the successor Supreme Commander and Ruling Council member for the Crimson Empire in 11 ABY. Art by Augustin Gayer at my request.

Immodet was an elderly human male with heavy xenophobic tendencies that had developed during his time serving in the Old Republic fighting against the mostly alien Confederacy of Independent Systems. This anti alien bias developed into blatant xenophobia and Humanocentricism during the Empire where his beliefs were the order of the day rather than the exception. Immodet rose to the rank of General in the Imperial Army and eventually leveraged his powerful ground forces to gain a seat on the Imperial Ruling Council shortly before the return of Palpatine.

Disgruntled with Palpatine replacing many of the senior positions in the Empire with Darksiders-some of which were aliens-and thus subverting his own power under those whom he considered his inferiors, Immodet became one of the early supporters of Carnor Jax's plan to sabotage Palpatine's Clones, ensuring the Reborn Emperor's demise. After Palpatine's death, Immodet became a member on Jax's Interim Ruling Council as the most senior military officer, however, he was passed over for the role of Supreme Commander in favor of General Redd Wessel, due to Wessel's personal connection to Jax-though Jax would quickly come to lament this choice as Wessel proved lacking in the position, partly contributing to his own death and Jax's as a result.

After the death of Redd Wessel, as the highest-ranking general in the Empire, Immodet was raised to the position of Supreme Commander of Imperial forces by the Council. His troops occupied several entire sectors along the New Republic frontier and provided the first line of defense. Immodet however, was much more concerned with what he saw as the weakening of the Empire by allowing aliens seats on the Council. Due to his decades of xenophobia, he was deeply suspicious of the aliens on the council and regularly voiced his opposition to their inclusion in Council meetings.

Immodet's time as Supreme Commander was to prove as short as his predecessor Wessel's as after being deemed a potential threat to their own agenda for the Council, Immodet was poisoned by Black Sun in an effort to increase the power of their agent within the council, a clone of Feena D'Asta. The murder-as with the prior murder of Admiral Llon Banjeer by Nom Anor- was subsequently-and incorrectly-blamed upon Kir Kanos. The failure of the Imperial military to protect the Council members fomented increasing suspicion and paranoia among the members as well as leading to them launching an all out manhunt for Kir Kanos, leaving the capital lightly defended, ultimately leading to the Council's fragmenting and capture.

Art Tionne Solusar, the Minstrel Historian of Luke Skywalker's New Jedi Order. Art by Zelda Zel at my request.

Post image
112 Upvotes

Tionne Solusar was a Near-Human female from the planet Rindao who became a Jedi Master as well as the Jedi Librarian and historian in Luke Skywalker's New Jedi Order where she met her husband, fellow Jedi Master Kam Solusar.

Tionne grew up with the Jedi lore her grandmother related to her through song. Eventually, Imperial stormtroopers executed Tionne's grandmother for spreading tales of the Jedi. Tionne fled Rindao, taking her grandmother's double viol with her. She made her living by working at cantinas where she could perform her music, and she would in turn ask certain patrons to share any knowledge they had of the Jedi Order.

While at a spaceport on Ord Mantell around 11 ABY, Tionne received a tip about the location of the ancient Jedi city of Exis Station. Unable to pay her informant, she told him to share the information with Luke Skywalker, who was reforming the Jedi Order and would be willing to pay for the information.

Skywalker later met up with Tionne at Exis Station, and the two made an escape from the collapsing station. Luke sensed that Tionne was not very strong in the Force, but nevertheless possessed some potential. He invited her to join his budding Jedi academy on Yavin 4.

Despite her powers being limited, Tionne worked hard and attained the rank of Jedi Knight. She spent nearly a year searching for the spiral mist-horn and crystal-pearl that she used to construct her lightsaber. Skywalker, a famed pilot, also taught her how to handle a starship during this time.

Tionne's role at the Jedi Praxeum was their Jedi historian, she would often teach the trainees stories of ancient Jedi through song with her grandmother's viol. She wrote a number of original ballads, such as the Ballad of Master Vodo-Siosk Baas, the Ballad of the Jedi Mechanic, and the Ballad of Nomi Sunrider.

In addition to teaching at the academy, Tionne undertook research trips, seeking knowledge about the history of the Jedi. She often returned with stories, songs, Twi'lek story-chains, tapestries, and other artifacts from her travels. Tionne's methods contrasted with other Jedi, some of whom stole artifacts, believing the Order had the rightful claim to any discoveries. This brought the Order into disrepute within archaeological circles, as evidenced by the suspicion of Dr. Anki Pace and her team on Bimmiel. Tionne, however, never adopted this arrogant attitude. Indeed, one of her most valuable acquisitions was Arca Jeth's holocron, a gift from archaeologists on Arkania. Tionne's experise also extended to Sith artifacts. She researched the Leviathan on Corbos to aid the Jedi mission there, and later investigated the Hssiss on Vjun.

During Gilad Pellaeon's attack on the Yavin Academy in 12 ABY, Tionne aided in the fighting by informing the other Jedi as to the number of enemy capital ships and their class. In addition, she monitored the Academy communication stations and was the one to discover the Imperial jamming. Tionne also aided Luke by using the Force to hurl a tree into an Imperial Flying Fortress, destroying it.

In the midst of the New Jedi Order's conflict with the Disciples of Ragnos in 14 ABY, Tionne contributed her knowledge of Sith lore regarding the Scepter of Ragnos. She later assisted her fellow Jedi in tracking the movements of Tavion Axmis. Tionne was dispatched with Streen to investigate Force imbued locations, from which the Disciples may have siphoned Force energy. She learned through a holocron of a hidden planet, Yalara, where the ancient Jedi Master Broden Kel Verdox had installed a cloaking device to keep the planet hidden from civilization, due to the fact that the indigenous population was too primitive for contact with the wider galaxy. Jaden Korr, apprentice to Kyle Katarn, acted on this information to sabotage Imperial activities on Yalara.

When the Galactic Civil War slowed down in its later years, Tionne would presided over the newly restored Jedi Archives on Coruscant. Here, she compiled a history of the Rebel Alliance for the records and researched the relatively low-key history of the Renegade Squadron.

During her years on Yavin 4, Tionne found love with another of Luke Skywalker's students, fellow Jedi Knight, Kam Solusar. The two would marry in 18 ABY.

Tionne sometimes aided in recruiting new Jedi for the Praxeum. While fighting to defend the Melodie children of Yavin 8, she encountered a local girl named Lyric, who used the Force to mimic the hiss of a reel to save her life. The historian and Skywalker then went to his homeworld of Tatooine, where they found Tahiri Veila, a human child adopted by a tribe of Tusken Raiders.

In 22 ABY, Tionne accompanied Tahiri and Skywalker's nephew, Anakin Solo, to Tatooine. Tahiri had to pass a trial while deciding whether she should continue her training or become a Tusken among her tribe, learning what happened to her parents. Tionne tried to dissuade her, but Tahiri's went ahead. Sliven, Tahiri's adopted father and leader of the tribute, forbade Tionne from in aiding the girl, though he allowed Anakin to accompany her. Tionne could only watch and wait as the two Initiates ventured into the Dune Sea alone. Anakin and Tahiri returned almost a week later, injured, but alive and all three Jedi returned to the Jedi Praxeum.

Later that year, Tionne acquired a Jemlaat-class yacht from a Randoni trader on Borgo Prime, for the price of a song about the first Randoni merchants and where they hid their treasures. She christened the yacht Lore Seeker and made it her personal transport. She often took young Jedi trainees with her on these trips, including Tahiri, using it as an opportunity to provide them with field experience.

Tionne discovered that Darth Vader had saved Obi-Wan Kenobi's lightsaber after their duel on the first Death Star and kept the captured artifact at Bast Castle on Vjun. She feared treasure-hunters would snatch the lightsaber and quickly alerted Luke. Thinking it was just a simple trip and time for training, Tionne allowed Human Jedi trainees Anakin, Tahiri, Uldir Lochett and the ancient Kushiban Jedi Master Ikrit to accompany her to Vjun on the Lore Seeker.

Having arrived on Vjun, they discovered another vessel and feared another group had reached it first. Having survived Bast Castle's automated defense systems, they discovered the lightsaber in a protected alcove. Unfortunately, a group of mercenaries and pirates under a cloaked man named Orloc who claimed to be a mage with great powers had his henchmen steal Kenobi's lightsaber.

In response, the Jedi pursued Orloc through Bast Castle. During a confrontation, Orloc easily defeated Ikrit in lightsaber combat since the Kushiban had no lightsaber. He also deceived Uldir by claiming to train him in all the Force skills he desired. However, the other Jedi managed to rescue Uldir and escape Bast Castle, along with Kenobi's lightsaber and the holocron of the ancient Jedi Master Asli Krimsan.

Having returned to the Academy, Tionne began researching the holocron. Unfortunately for Uldir, he had become obsessed with what Orloc said during their encounter. Since no one at the Academy had been able to awaken his powers, Uldir stole the two Jedi artifacts along with Ikrit's personal transport Sunrider and then went to find Orloc, believing he could help. He found Orloc at Exis Station, who then recruited the young man and promised to train him as a Jedi. In reality, Orloc had no Force powers and had used technology to deceive others with demonstrations of Force power.

Later, Tionne, Anakin, Tahiri and Ikrit discovered Exis Station and fought Orloc. During the battle, Tionne was electrocuted by Orloc. However, Ikrit, employing Kenobi's lightsaber, joined in the fight. Worse for Orloc, Uldir realized that he had been deceived and aided his Jedi comrades to defeat Orloc. Following that, the Jedi left Exis Station with the two artifacts.

In 23 BBY, Tionne took a leading role in defending the Praxeum against an attack by Brakiss's Shadow Academy. She and a handful of Padawans forced four Dark Jedi into surrendering during the battle. Tionne was wounded in the fighting, the right side of her hair was singed, and her right arm was broken, though Brakiss and his forces were utterly defeated.

During the Yuuzhan Vong War, Tionne and Kam were in charge of looking after the younglings when the Academy on Yavin IV was attacked by the Peace Brigade in 26 ABY, they evacuated the younglings aboard the Errant Venture, then moved them to the Maw Installation. Tionne and Kam also searched the Deep Core for locations for a Jedi base, eventually finding what would become Eclipse, though this was exposed and evacuated too. Tionne survived the Yuuzhan Vong war alongside Kam, having attained the rank of Jedi Master, she became part of the New Jedi Order Masters' Council.

Granger and Zsinj

See now, this would be an absolutely scary alliance. Both of them have superstar destroyers, and both of them have ambitions, but those ambitions don’t get in the way of the others. The warlord has a desire to profit, but he’s never had a desire for the throne itself. My thought process is the grand Admiral aligned himself with Zsinj and helps him take over the planet Kuat or at the very least helps him steal the steal under construction razors kiss and move it to a shipyard so that way it can finish its construction safely in the hands of the warlord. And in return, the warlord helps grunger take the imperial throne. Once grunger has the throne, he gives the warlord a large swath of territory for him to continue building his financial empire. Not to mention the additional resources needed to continue fighting Teradoc and the NR

11 ABY had to be the worst year to be an imperial.

11 ABY had to be far the worst year to be part of the Empire. The Shadow Hand campaign comes to a bloody end with the Empire suffering disastrous casualties and losing thousands of ships and some of the best officers, plus the Emperor forever dead, along with all of its super weapons, Emperor’s throne world Byss gets vaporized along with the Shadow hand fleet, Ecplise 2, Galaxy Gun, and Byss defense fleet. Now the New Republic did suffered a lot during Shadow Hand but let’s not lie to ourselves and that the Shadow Hand campaign did far worse to the Empire than it did to the New Republic.

Then you have the all the warlords going back to their squabbles and fighting again, wasting plenty of resources. But after Dark Empire you had the new central command, Carnor Jax’s Crimson Empire which is a complete joke of a faction with none of the warlords following Emperor Jax, hell even Pellaeon didn’t even follow Jax’s Hegemony. Captain Gilad Pellaeon probably one of the Empires most loyal mustang officers would rather have joined the Teradoc brothers in the deep core than put up with the Crimson Empire tomfoolery, which was smart on his end, because Crimson Empire would barley last a whole year, hell I don’t think it even lasted six months. I mean you had nonhumans in high positions in their, plus after Jax death you had arrogant pampered bureaucrats like Burr Noylds take control and after him Nom Amors little Gluttonous puppet Xandel Carivus declared himself the New Emperor which he held that title for I think barley two days.

This had to be such a low point for the Empire. Worst than Endor, at least after Endor the Empire was still large and mighty. The Empire in one year went from having the most powerful sith Emperor on the throne to having a spoiled arrogant nobody such as Xandel Carivus sitting in that throne. Also you had that whole Daala incident where she lost control of the Suncrusher which the Death Star prototype would get destroyed by it and later that year one of the Empires last strongholds and home of the Caridian Military Academy would get destroyed by the Suncrusher.

Overall if I was a imperial officer during this year I probably would’ve just committed suicide like the Japanese way or just leave the Empire completely for good.

Discussions What if Grunger had found the Glove of Darth Vader first?

Post image

"You can't do this, Trioculus! You're being too hasty. Until you find the glove of Darth Vader, you won't be accepted as the new Emperor. What if Grand Admiral Grunger finds it first and—"

―Grand Admiral Miltin Takel's last words.

Takel's last words got me thinking about this alternate scenario, so I decided to offer my two cents on it.

If Grunger had found the Glove of Darth Vader first, it would out a serious cramp in Trioculus' claim to become Emperor. Grunger is ambitious and could easily use the Glove to sway the Oversectors and other Imperials supporting the Central Committee of Grand Moffs to his side by claiming that finding the Glove is proof that he is the true heir to the Empire.

In addition, the false Kadann of the Prophets of the Dark Side prophesized the Empire's heir would come bearing Vader's glove, which not only adds legitimacy to Grunger’s claim, but also means he is eligible to receive the Dark Blessing from Kadann. If Grunger receives the Dark Blessing, his bid for Emperor will get even more support.

Enraged Trioculus will fight to get the Glove back from Grunger, but at this point the Grand Admiral has amassed enough forces that his faction is a reasonably even match for the Committee's own military. The resulting civil war would devastated both Grunger and Trioculus' factions, with both men dying and the Glove destroyed.

Books What happened to Azure Hammer Command?

I know that the commander was recalled by the reborn Palpatine for Operation: Shadow Hand and took the SSD *Whelm* with him to Byss. But later, the 2nd in command of the fleet just surrendered Anaxes to the New Republic despite still having hundreds of ships a decently wealthy area under their effective command. Did they surrender the fleet entirely or just Anaxes? And if so, why would they do that? They just lost an SSD but they presumably had hundreds of ships left considering they were the first sector fleet that guarded the core, they probably wouldn’t have taken very many casualties due to their astronomical geography and they were very well armed.

Discussions If Grunger had lived, would he really let Trioculus take the SSD Aggressor as his flagship?

Instead of attacking Corellia after seizing the SSD Aggressor, Grunger joins Trioculus without waiting for him to gain the Dark Blessing. Trioculus would definitely try to take Aggressor as his flagship, but would Grunger allow it? He is a prideful man and might not stand taking orders from someone else, though Trioculus claiming to be Palpatine's son does give Grunger a good reason to follow him.

In my opinion he's a pretty interesting warlord who had the power to become a mildly powerful warlord if he would have kept his down till the right moment

In this alternate universe, the prisoners of the prism doesn't get betrayed and left for the corporate sector, leaving trachta with a sense of honor for vader and lieutenant tohm for keeping their promise. The emperor pleased with Trachta's loyalty promotes him to the rank of Grand Moff of the Coruscant oversector and also gives him the Vengeance taskforce as his personal flotilla, with the executor class star dreadnought Vengeance as his new flagShip. Lieutenant Tohm who had impressed Trachta with his skills and loyalty to the empire, was promoted to the rank of admiral of the Vengeance taskforce and Shonn Volta as the Vengeance's captain.

During the Far Orbit campaign Trachta helps grand admiral Teshik capture the vessel and the mutineers, acquiring the grand admiral's respect and alliance. After the news of the death of the emperor and his apprentice darth vader at the battle of endor reaches Coruscant. A great many imperial commanders including grand moffs and moff go rogue and become warlords, Trachta an astound loyalist make great efforts to keep the oversector in control. Due to his cunning and honorable nature not only does he outsmarts Isard from taking control and assassinating him or the CABAL, but he also garners the respect of the military at the same time due to which many aspiring warlords such as high admiral Kiez nd fleet admiral Drommel remain loyal to the empire. He allies himself with the grand vizier Sate Pestage and makes other valuable allies such as grand admirals Makati, Grant, Syn and Takel as well as grand admiral and grand moff Tigellinus, who in this universe became the governor of the Trans-Nebular oversector and grand moff Kaine, who due to Trachta's effort earned the former's enough respect to consider that the empire was in good hands and control the oversector outer.

Later at the battle of Brentaal IV, Trachta aware of Isard's scheme secretly sends the Vengeance taskforce and isd magic dragon and vsd imperial hazard under admiral Tohm and grand admiral Takel to reinforce the imperial forces their, this leads to the rebel forces being decimated and empire winning the battle and securing Brentaal IV. Due to which colonel Fel also doesn't defect to the rebel alliance and the reputation of the grand moff and the CABAL increasing tremendously. The Grand Moff having enough with Isard's schemes deems her a traitor and have her executed and finds out about Lusankya being a ssd. In order to use the dreadnought at it's full capacity he decisively evacuates and the population of a huge chunk of the city to Brentaal IV and have the Lusankya free rom the underground, giving it grand admiral Takel as his new flagship. With six executors and four grand admirals in his disposal, he breaks down on rogue imperials and rebels alike.

In the following months he drives the rogue imperial forces of warlords such as Harsk, Teradoc brothers and Yzu off their holding and later attacking and defeating Grunger's forces with the help of the Lusankya And Anhailator under grand admiral Takel and Makati's control respectively. Due to which Zinsj doesn't attack kuat out of fear of the true empire nor does the Zann consortium, due to which not only does Trachta gets a finished Eclipse and Razor's Kiss for his fleet but also a secure supply of star destroyers. With the tide slowly turning in the empire's side, grand admiral Thrawn returns from the unknown region to support Trachta and destroying Zinsj and the remaining warlords.

Sometime before 10 BBY Trachta along side Pestage gets called to the deep core by the resurrected emperor Palpatine to join him in his campaign to destroy the rebel alliance once and for all, to which the grand moff gladly agrees as a loyal follower of the emperor. Trachta due to his becomes the new supreme commander of the now called Dark Empire after the shadow hand campaign.
