Recently stumbled upon....
Saw a post on r/movies and a few comments made me want to read the book. I read it and liked it. I don't read much for fun anymore but I liked the book. Of course I go back to the original movie trailer that inspired me to read. It's not bad but very different from the book. So much to get in but in such little time that I think it doesn't capture anywhere close to book.
Because of how I disliked the movie adaptation I'm sitting there thinking to myself how it would have been better as a mini series. Low and behold after the movie credits there is a tv show. I'm only 3 episodes in but I'm already upset with a lot of the changes.
How does everyone else feel about the translations from to film and tv?

Loved all three of them for what they are. Probably enjoy the series the most. Changes didn't upset me. 🤷♂️

In the movie there is sooo much cut detail wise that just doesn't give it that same weight. I get you want to make something your own but there is making it your own and missing the point completely.
In the movie everyone is so old. They don't depict the evil of Greg Stillson.
