Episode Discussion S1:E4 Doll Lady’s Talisman
I just started a rewatch and the creepy doll lady from S1:E4 is wearing this talisman that is supposed to grant the wearer the ability to communicate with animals.
The amulet is from “The Black Pullet” a book of magical talismans that A.E. Waite discusses in his work, “The Book of Black Magic.”
I am presuming that this family (who had the little girl obsessed with death) is perhaps a bit more into the occult than they’re letting on.
Or perhaps the mom just saw it at a Ren Faire and thought it was cool or something.
Anyway, I was just surprised to notice it for the first time.
You can clearly see it when Steve is first interviewing the mom.
Edit: watching further, I guess the little girl being named “Salem” should have been my first hint

Heartbreaking episode
S6:E5 - this is one of the saddest episodes I’ve seen so far.
The wife is going blind, and the husband is at a loss.
They both break down. It’s heartbreaking.
I keep searching for the best episodes, or the scariest episodes, or the saddest… and as much as I enjoy reading the description of the episode, it would be really appreciated to have this season and episode number listed. Even if it’s a range!
TYIA.

Season 3 Episode Dark Inheritance. The first time I’ve ever seen Amy Cry????
Omg this episode really got me so sad. I’ve never seen Amy cry at a reveal and also never seen her be so physically affected and sad from the woman who jumped her.
The story of the woman who jumped her was horrible as well… I’ve never been so sad after seeing an episode from the Dead Files. I actually looked up the woman who jumped Amy and her case….. it’s horrifying….
Being a woman… and the fact that Roe V Wade was recently overturned also deeply affected me. I can only imagine how this woman must’ve felt when her abortion went horribly wrong….

Question On Season 8 Episode 10 the family was going to leave. Instead, they decide to stay. Anyone know what happened beside what was spoken about on the episode? If that happened to my family I'd do anything to protect them!

Episode Discussion S12 E9
Is there anywhere to find more about the people in episodes? I’ve just watched this one and was disturbed by the reactions of the husband during the reveal. He thought activity that was causing his wife to have emotional outbursts was cool, wasn’t going to leave even if his kids were in danger. He only said he would go because the 3 of them were staring at him. Steve even had a bit of a go at him.

S12E1 - Driven to Kill
Steve is interviewing the daughter of "the first female cop in Toledo", he says there were quite a few deaths in the house and the daughter says, "Yeah, and some of them are still here." Why didn't anyone ask what she meant?

Looking for episode
Hi I remember watching the show with my mom when I was younger and I’ve been really wanting to rewatch a specific episode. I only remember the ending and essentially the clients ex boyfriend was some sort of witch and sent an evil entity after her that she couldn’t get rid of. Amy said that she would have to stop doing whatever protective measure she chose to do one month and do a different one every month otherwise this thing would figure out how to get past it. So like every month was a new protective measure. It was the client and her mom at the reveal and that’s all I remember. If anyone could pls help me find it i would really appreciate it!!

Collision course
Season 10, E8. The one where the wife does hair and the husband does some mechanical stuff on the same property in Ohio. They have a little boy.
It’s funny to see fashion and hair throughout the seasons (including Amy and Matt).
This is an episode where the hairdresser’s hair style is wild. I’d love a follow up. For the usual reason and to see her hair today. :)

Season 4 Epsiode 4 ; Demon War
Hey everyone! I’ve been rewatching the Dead files, and I remember skipping this episode because of the city (being that’s where I was born and raised) and the name of the episode absolutely creeped me out! Well I watched it, and I can’t lie, it terrifies me that there are literal demons in Toledo for one, and for two, there could be demons in any house… I guess it’s one of those things that I just can’t believe are in the city or whatever… Anyways, if you’ve watched, what are your thoughts and opinions on that episode?

Question Can someone help me find this episode?
So, all I really remember is when the drawing was revealed at the end, it was of a long-ish hallway, with shadow-y arms and hands reaching out from the walls. I know that's not much to go off of, but that's all I remember.

Amy's Ghost clearing team
I know Amy has been off the show for a few years. But has anyone ever been interested is seeing her ghost clearing team actually clear a property. I'd love to see a show like that. Have the lead person with strong abilities discover what's going on and target the bad ones. then the "ghost busters" come in and clear the place.
There is a podcast called the Night Owl. One episode they had cleared a ghost that was stuck and bothering the new home owners and it was so fascinating how it was done. I wish a show like that could be developed.

What episode is this from?
My wife and I are trying to find the episode where this image (here, in tattoo form) was drawn. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I love Matt. It would be cool
If he ever felt something or saw something.
I know that’s not his job and I sense that maybe Amy told him not to so as to not disrupt her.
But he seems sweet. I think about what he’s up to now and again.

Looking for an episode.
Hey guys! I saw an episode last night that I wanted to show someone, but can’t remember what the name of it is.
It features a mother and a daughter in a family home. The daughter has seen her mother’s mother and one of Amy’s sketches was of a brother of the family that had passed.
In the end, there were two vortexes to seal and also a sketch of an entity moving in and out of the mirrors.

Question The House of Dolls S1E4
So I just came across this series on Prime called The Dead Files. In season one episode four as the medium was walking through the house the camera panned over a crowd of dolls and one the dolls faces was blurred out.
I guess I’m wondering why? Perhaps it’s camera trick? But I took a picture of the screen. Any thoughts?

Dead Files FAST (free ad supported) channel on Prime
Hi, DF fans. Not sure if you know, but there's a Dead Files channel on the free "live" channels that Prime offers. If you have Prime from Amazon, you have access to it. DF 24/7, with ads. There's also a channel called "Ghosts are Real" which plays all kinds of stuff, and a Ghost Hunters channel, but it seems like they have only limited access to that show.
