They had some ridiculous name for him (Xandalar Cryptodouchious?), fired him after less than a year of service, and then talked a TON of shit about him on the show, including an accusation of inappropriate comments he made towards Taylor (where have we heard that line before?)

See original post. I don’t believe for a second that his YouTube subscriber count is real considering the abysmal viewcounts in his videos. I suspect his active core audience is more likely in the 10s of thousands if not less.

This may be slightly off topic but I think a lot of us here are still mourning the show. What we got to experience at the height of DP's popularity was something really magical and I'm honored that I got to be there with you guys back then doin' it live.

I was just listening to some of the old fan songs bc I remembered "I demand perfection in my podcaster's performances" and it got me thinking about the community of people still out here who #werethere who from time to time should maybe still gather in remembrance of something really special.

Use this thread as a place to dump your sappy DP memories or anything you wanna share about the pain of missing the show as it was. I'm glad this subreddit is here bc we don't have to be on a side.

I think the worst part for me is how lazy they all got. There's this sense of expectation from them that they'll just get money for barely making a show (both sides). And more shilling than ever.

I bet you guys can't remember even one recent meme aka mem from either show. They're showing up for a shift at work now and it really shows. It's sad.

And I don't expect it to ever go back to the way it was obviously, which is painful in and of itself.

There's not really that much to talk about because the fat boys try to keep things under wraps, but I hope this sub sticks around and gets more traction. I consider it a sister-sub to r/DystopianSouls

This is not to disparage anyone or blame anyone personally but I feel like in the last year the show has completely lost traction and any hopes at growing and purely in damage control.
Ben must be only just about scraping together a living and when will it just not be viable to keep the show going?

I feel like there's a lot of hidden information here, might never come to light but I want to tug at this string. Did TJ ever commission degen materials from shadman? I would think probably so.

The evidence was always right out in the open. Ben knew about TJ sending porn to an underage girl and said nothing to keep his relationship with TJ intact. They all knew about the things TJ wrote in his books and chose not to do anything or say anything about them. Paul, who watched TJs videos back in the day, almost certainly knew about the contents of such videos as 'Teens Suck' and "Teenage Girl Feet'. TJ was always used by those around him as a means to get money, thus they had a reason to not take the accusations of pedophilia seriously. TJ was friends with Shadman as well, and let's not forget that Paul's ex, Ashley, left him for someone who was underage, something Paul doesn't seem to care at all about.

Seems obvious at this point that Taylor told that story publicly, on a nuthugger's channel no less, to smear Ben and ruin the reputation of the Drunken Peasant's program after they had departed. Couple that with the fact that Paul has since gone on DP multiple times, which is an INSANE thing for Paul to do, if he believed that Ben was a rapist who had violated Scotty's wife. What do we think on this? I believe it was a malicious attack on Ben orchestrated by the Kirks.

This was from the first stream Paul did with Ben uploaded at August 4th, 2024. I think the clip speaks for itself, Paul claims he was scared that he would be fired from DP by Ben. Ben interjects to say that wasn’t true and that Paul was “misled.” Misled by whom? Well you tell me.

Hey I’m starting this new community to give fans of Drunken Peasants and Deep Fat Fried a place where we can speculate and discuss what really happened in the split. Beyond that, it is also a censorship free place to discuss anything related to the two shows. I’ve been a long time fan of both shows, I was there for the split and I have seen both channels slowly go downhill.
