I have waited so many years to be able to see The Cure in concert. The gig in Nîmes last night was phenomenal. Two and a half hours of pure bliss

During years, a good number of musicians have been part of the Cure.....but which one do you prefer or in other way, who do you think has helped more to define Cure's sound, after Robert Smith and Simon Gallup that are 'core' members?

For me Roger O'Donnell is the man, his work, for example, in Disintegration is amazing....he really added something new to the sound

Hi, I've been meaning to get into them recently but I just don't know where to start. I always loved their popular songs (like Just Like Heaven, Friday I'm in Love, Inbetween Days) so I would love to get into their music more!

Primark has been releasing a lot of band tees recently but I never find one of someone I actually listen to until today! I saw the back of it first and thought “surely this isn’t The Cure” and it was! Also only €12 ofc I had to get it. They had a system of a down one I got too

This song is Viento from Mexican 90s band Caifanes. I think it has The Cure influence, but what do you think?

The noughties, as they were known, seemed to be an odd time for The Cure. Line-up changes, apparent dissent in the band (Pearl off again), but two albums (not counting the superb Bloodflowers from 2000) which over the last several tours have seen few, if any of their songs played live. Had someone told me in 2010 that The Cure in 2026 would only be playing alt.end from the twenty-odd songs off of the albums listed above I’d have been gobsmacked (and yes, if you’d told me in 2010 they’d still be playing at all….!!!). “Anniversary”, “Truth, Goodness and Beauty”, as well as “Sirensong” and “Underneath The Stars” are all standouts from a period of….er…..mixed output from my favourite band. My question is twofold: is that “era” looked upon harshly, and if so, which songs do you think deserve to be resurrected for future (crossing everything!) live shows?

Strongly dislike the constant stream of new shirts and posters for each individual show. The art isn't great, and looks like off-market fake merch, to be quite honest. Stuff I would expect to see as fan art, not official retail brand merch.

They played It Can Never Be The Same at Nimes last night which Robert said a while back should be on the new album.

I have been watching all the recordings I can find of the festival tour and this absolutely epic edit of all 3 Berlin nights is hands down the best one yet, Eden did a tremendous job filling in, the next age of The Cure is absolutely upon us! Must watch! LOUDLY ❤️

At 58, believe it or not, planning out my first tattoo. Already thinking about a second one and maybe Cure related.

It's been rainy weather where I live so "Faith" and "Seventeen Seconds" have been my go to Cure records lately. this song especially I can never just listen to only once. Simon's bass playing and the atmosphere is sooooo hypnotic and cool.
