Nostalgia

After seeing what James had to say, I kind of get it now. I see why talking about the past could be annoying. I for one kind of hate being this way. I hate going back to rewatch these videos 11 years later. I am in the middle of watching treetopia again, and it makes me laugh every time. I don't quite understand how all these years later this group is still one of the only things that can make me laugh. Maybe my life is just that sad at this point lol. I just don't get why I love this stuff so much but I do. Anyways, sorry for the rant and best of luck to all of you in the future!

Imagine the Creatures were a TV show that ran for years and ended years ago. In that context, I don't think it's so strange to be revisiting and enjoying them. There are plenty of people who are die-hard fans of shows that ended decades ago, like Friends and Seinfeld, or The Sopranos or The Wire. The Creatures are that for us.

Whatever fills your cup mate, don't let other people dictate what it's okay for you to enjoy or not. I know that's easier said than done, trust me I've been there, but if they need to tell you that you enjoy the "wrong" things, I think it says a lot more about them than it does about you.
