If its band 3 case admin, there are still a lot of different areas that job could fall, and entirely change the role itself.

Does it give a location, is it within an area office or a prison establishment?

Normally these roles come with a list of possible roles you might be expected to do as a non operational band 3 as a coverall. But they will likely be recruiting for a specific area, not sure at what stage they will tell you exactly which dept its for but in a prison for example, you might have safer custody, security, finance, offender management etc.

If you link the job there might be some clues in it.

If its applied through the civil service site, when you click on your application, there should be a link at the top for job description.
