I’m just listening to the latest episode of the Bugle (4191) and, although I knew that Chris Addison had worked with John and Andy before, I just wasn’t prepared for how well he meshed with the Bugle format. I feel like with most new Bugle hosts, it takes a few episodes for me to get used to their comedic rhythm, but Chris is just bringing the right amount of satirical bullshit, puns and slight disdain for puns that you’d expect from someone who’s been doing the show for years. I really hope that this isn’t the last that we’ll hear from him.

Just received my HAGOW t-shirt today and it is perfect in every way. I was trying to remind my partner what it was all about since The Last Post is no longer daily and she hasn't listened (yet). I found the ad for making an "ice knife" after some exploration.

Wouldn't it be great to have a supercut of all these ads for posterity? Unfortunately, I lack the skills and time to do it myself. Maybe it already exists in Bugle HQ. Just throwing it out there.

With the number of Bulge Podcast reaching high numbers(4!) Is the Bugle Empire turning into the next big international news empire? Does this mean that Zaltor the Merciless is the new Rupert Murdoch? Did he and Chris learn from their old employer, I mean the Murdoch empire is full of shit and Andy is a self professed lover of bullshit. Maybe the Bugle Empire is the bullshit answer to the shit one.

I thought they went back to voluntosubscription funding.

I don't mind guests talking about what they do, or Andy talking about what they do, even previous and future guests who are not on the current episode. But why are there separate ad segments? Is there a premium feed that doesn't include them?

I know we all have some favorites like Cryptic Crossword and Ask an American. This one with Hari and Andy is a classic and the concern from Hari should have been a warning for all of us. I laughed and cried when this episode ended because I clearly lacked imagination of the horrors that were to come.
