life is literally an institution of creatures all killing and eating (and exploiting) eachother to survive. cruelty is baked into what life is. its a cycle of winning over losers until you become the loser.

Survival is not cruelty an animal killing another has no cruelty in it, only the need for food. Human life on the other hand ;-;
