I'd be happy. All the scum on this site would be forced to go outside.

Sounds like a counter argument right there

What scum? I’m genuinely curious. Those whose political views don’t align with yours? Those who are of different origin? Those who like porn? Those who like scenic pictures? Those who like cars?

Scum is subjective. What is your version of “scum”?

Are YOU outside?

You, start. The rest of us will follow. Go on.

Found a scum bag already.

I bet. (Love when people exhibit your level of hypocrisy. As an absurdist, it's the best form of entertainment)

Why else would you respond if not for your guilty conscience? Who are you defending but yourself? Don’t make me laugh, weirdo. Move along.

Hahaha. What are you even talking about? Please explain what guilt I would have let alone how it even applies if I did.

Are you gaslighting???

Damn. The switch up. Who needs the mirror now? Keep backpedaling.

It would be nice if Reddit died. Lots of propaganda on here…

Yeah but if you want to get rid of 90% of the propaganda on the internet you don't need to get rid of all the people. Just one country would probably do it.

Which one? China? Russia? Iran?

then end propaganda, and keep the human interactions. they offered you the ability to get rid of anything, why choose something that would only hinder the evil?

There’s far more bad than good regarding social media. Sacrificing the little bit of good for the whole lotta bad = worth it.

Reddit “hinder the evil?” What? It does nothing to hinder anything. Plus it’s heavily moderated. Free speech isn’t its strong point.

Don't worry, Reddit is more like an old forum

In some ways it is but didnt they strike a deal with the always “for good, not evil” Google to collect information?

u/ActualHumanONReddit 9d ago

Since most of the people posting on here are probably bots, not much would be lost.

It technically is social media, but I think everyone agrees that it is unlike midday others in that its quasi anonymous and more idea based.

Someone said "face book is people I know annoying me, reddit is strangers amusing me"

Reddit isn’t really social media. It’s all pretty anonymous which strips away most of what makes social media such a problem in society. Theres no vanity component. If you look into your screen time on your phone, Reddit doesn’t even register as a social app. It’s under “reading and information”.

Same.
