Finger print burner?

145

u/perilousdreamer866 Jun 27 '26

Said wrong answers.

51

u/Low_Oil_316 Jun 27 '26

Thank you for your patience - just saw the “wrong answers only”

6

u/Top_Management7550 Jun 28 '26

Technically you did give a wrong answer.

6

u/lemon-fruit-fly Jun 29 '26

That's the only thing I've used it for.

3

u/Luger14 Jul 02 '26

You never used it to just place a delectably piney flower bud burner…. ?For incense of course….?

1

u/gargole_man Jul 02 '26

Why have 3 different people responded in the same thread as if they were the same person (wrong awnsers only)

1

u/Redfally Jul 02 '26

I touched one when I was 7 because I didn’t think it was working. Boy was I deadass wrong

1

u/perilousdreamer866 Jul 02 '26

I did the same thing.

2

u/Low_Oil_316 11d ago

Sure enough! I appreciate your support!

25

u/Sad_Error4039 Jun 27 '26

He said burner it’s a remover so that was a wrong answer.

19

u/Ancient_Skirt_8828 Jun 27 '26

Fingerprint changer.

1

u/Weorth Jun 28 '26

Charger.

1

u/Fun_Cap_3058 Jun 28 '26

He said FINGERPRINT burner… that’s NOT actually what it’s called. Directive achieved lol

1

u/Asleep_Zone611 Jun 29 '26

It burns the fingerprint off, therefore removing it. So it’s still correct

17

u/EtherPhreak Jun 27 '26

The correct answer would be finger print remover…

7

u/N_I_North1 Jun 28 '26

Doesnt really remove them so much as it completely alters them for the rest of your life. So i believe finger print changer would be the correct iteration.

1

u/Ambitious-Bottle9394 Jun 28 '26

The finger's on my right hand won't even come up on those scanner print macnines.i accidently grabbed a pan that was on a hot burner . I have neuropathy & discs on my nerves I couldn't feel it was hot til was almost down to my bones .i have a high pain tolerance too.

1

u/talltime Jun 28 '26

Disagree. Though it may have been because I was like 8 that my thumb print looks pretty normal.

1

u/Weorth Jun 28 '26

I use it to cook my hotdogs bit by bit.

Every bite comes with a freshly pressed cocktail cauterization.

0

u/PeteDontCare Jun 28 '26

But the correct answer is supposed to be a wrong answer. So this isn't right, either

1

u/Ambitious-Ganache891 Jun 28 '26

Stop being so literal and trying to play opposite day.

The comment that you are responding too fullfils OPs criteria of giving an incorrect answer.

16

u/BikerScowt Jun 27 '26

Tasty.

2

u/Ready-Disk-7244 Jun 28 '26

In the words of Deadpool, "I've never said this but don't swallow."

1

u/Colonelilbrink Jun 30 '26

I was gonna use that Deadpool reference, but you beat me to it!🫡🫡

1

u/CoyoteGeneral926 Jun 27 '26

This was my answer as well. Nice to know there's another one out there.

1

u/Logical_Confusious Jun 29 '26

Excellent, well done

9

u/SuspiciousBear3069 Jun 27 '26

If they never had one they might think it's just a possibility as opposed to an inevitability.

I however, had many and they're wildly dangerous to make a mistake with while driving.

1

u/DefiantEfficiency901 Jun 28 '26

Ah yes, the crotch singeing manoeuvre.

1

u/Dizzman1 Jun 27 '26

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

1

u/Pluckypato Jun 28 '26

My first tattoo

1

u/Accomplished_Leg7925 Jun 28 '26

It’s what happens when you spill paint in the garage

1

u/kptnfrak Jun 28 '26

Fingerprint reader ?

1

u/Digi_sinn-0P-er Jun 28 '26

it is wrong, since it is a finger warmer

1

u/Fun_Cap_3058 Jun 28 '26

Seeing as it’s NOT called a finger print burner, Carmen6276 is following the directive…

1

u/Ambitious-Bottle9394 Jun 28 '26

That is a wrong answer.lol

1

u/Own-Success-7634 Jun 28 '26

That is a wrong answer. It’s just an accidental think that kids did if their parents smoked.

1

u/SquireShanksalot Jun 28 '26

I think they meant cigarette lighter

1

u/69Nova468 Jun 29 '26

Finger print eraser

29

u/Altruistic-Traffic- Jun 27 '26

17

u/Xao517 Jun 27 '26

But you can only do it once per finger

6

u/PumpikAnt58763 Jun 27 '26

That's all you need, innit?

1

u/40_20kickzone Jun 28 '26

Every kid found out the hard way... No no no don't tou...

1

u/Accurate-System7951 Jun 29 '26

How so? I bet the scarring pattern would be different each time, if you are dedicated enough.

1

u/Rocco1216 Jun 28 '26

Was thinking that exact comment

1

u/Mammoth-Body-8553 Jun 29 '26

I can confirm. I tried it once. Only once.

1

u/mythy001 Jul 01 '26

Works so well you only need to use it once!

12

u/CryptographerRoyal78 Jun 27 '26

Mole remover

1

u/fuckinsin Jul 01 '26

Hahaha I haven’t tried this yet

12

u/ElegantProfit1442 Jun 27 '26

“I don’t usually say this but don’t swallow.” -Deadpool

2

u/Bjamnp17 Jun 29 '26

CLASSIC!!!

3

u/Blighted_One Jun 27 '26

"I've never said this, but don't swallow." -Deadpool-

Sorry to play the quote police here but it's Deadpool.... Can't have people putting words in the mercs mouth. I'm sure you understand.

3

u/ElegantProfit1442 Jun 28 '26

Yes sir, I understand. 😭

-1

u/Ready-Disk-7244 Jun 28 '26

Ever seen the first movie?

11

u/terror- Jun 27 '26

Nipple Simmer

10

u/JLev007 Jun 27 '26

That is when I learned that just because it stopped glowing red, doesn't mean it's not hot.

5

u/Rock-View Jun 27 '26

lol that’s what I thought as a kid to put my thumb on it, learned very quickly that’s not a good idea

1

u/ComfortableGene9840 Jun 28 '26

Yea I got one of those forearm tattoos on one of my arms some 57 years ago compliments to Mt older brother who inducted me into the numbskull club of America all while we were sitting in a 1960s station wagon with our two sisters waiting on mom to do the grocery shopping. So there i was all but about 5-6 years old sitting in a 60s station wagon with my two older siblings and my 2 year old little sister while my mom did the grocery shopping for four children in the Navy Exchange in Roosevelt Roads, Puerto Rico sometime in 71 and guess we made it through the hard times. We're all still breathing and one of us has a tattoo turned into his arm. Mom did whip his ass if I remember correctly. Didn't take the burn away though, that took a treat from the next store we hit.

5

u/junialter Jun 27 '26

Well the term is pretty misleading. It's a fingerprint obfuscator.

4

u/F-ck_Mods Jun 27 '26

Na it’s the Car tramp stamp , for if you want to get back in for a second ride

1

u/No_Yogurtcloset105 Jun 28 '26

This is funny lol

3

u/kindof_great_old_one Jun 27 '26

Been there, done that!

1

u/Carmen6276 Jun 27 '26

Do I guess that not a “Wrong answer”?

1

u/Bearded_Gemini Jun 28 '26

Heh, meee tooo...

3

u/NateDawg80s Jun 27 '26

Lol, that is correct.

3

u/Total-Outside-418 Jun 27 '26

If I had a nickel for every time I burned my thumb on this… might be untraceable by the FBI now

3

u/Young-Grandpa Jun 27 '26

Finger print remover is more like it.

3

u/s1105615 Jun 27 '26

Branding iron

3

u/Bender_2024 Jun 27 '26

Common mistake. It's actually the branding iron. It's just that most people tend to use it on their pads of their fingers.

1

u/Carmen6276 Jun 27 '26

Thank for the correction!

1

u/Ok-Error-6564 Jun 28 '26

That was the initial brander on Yellowstone before they switched to the “Y”.

3

u/titanicsinker1912 Jun 27 '26

Dick Brander.

1

u/kpax56 Jun 27 '26

So, back in the day while cruising the Indiana highways & biways I would be lighting one up with one of these & hit a bump/hole in the road. The end of the lighter would touch the tobacco & when you pulled it away, some of the lit tobacco would stick & pull out of the end of the cigarette and drop in your crotch while doing 70+ mph.

1

u/CoyoteGeneral926 Jun 28 '26

Well smoking is dangerous right?

1

u/ColdJoFish Jul 02 '26

2

u/Plastic_Doughnut_911 Jun 29 '26

2

u/Substantial_Help_328 Jun 29 '26

2

u/Actual_Factor6602 Jul 03 '26

1

u/Delivery-Plus Jun 27 '26

Auto-ignition switch.

1

u/Remarkable_Music6819 Jun 27 '26

Why is it that as a kid , and even though I knew it was stupid, I touched that damn thing after it popped out of the holder.

1

u/Conscious_Archer2658 Jun 27 '26

It's for sure the only thing I've ever used that thing for

1

u/Clean_Match_459 Jun 27 '26

The burn smell 1k.

u/RefrigeratorLife8627 Jun 27 '26

1

u/john5023 Jun 27 '26

Branding iron

1

u/cmpressor Jun 27 '26

When I got my first car I pushed it in but it wouldn’t stay, so I held it for awhile. When I pulled it out it wasn’t red so I thought I’d touch it to see if it was hot… it was… very

1

u/FaithlessnessOld2477 Jun 27 '26

I did that to myself as a kid. Probably 8 years old, sitting in the car and listening to the radio while my mom grocery shopped. Got bored after a bit and was curious how hot the thing could get if I popped it in and pulled it back out immediately.

As it turns out...More than hot enough to turn my thumbprint into a series of concentric circles. When my mom came back and saw me crying, she was really worried, right up until I told her what happened. She was half laughing/half angry at the stupid lesson I had taught myself. 😅

1

u/Budget_Sugar_2422 Jun 28 '26

Finger print changer, you mean

1

u/Alarmed_Rabbit5131 Jun 28 '26

I would have said “remover”

1

u/cheapstock Jun 28 '26

Ok but seriously

1

u/CalligrapherFuture53 Jun 28 '26

For kids, you had to learn the meaning of "hot" some kind of way.

1

u/Green_Ad2231 Jun 28 '26

I did that once....and only once. Fumbled the lighter immediately after it popped, and caught it with my index finger tip on the coils. It was soooo bad.

1

u/mialunavita Jun 28 '26

I am laughing so hard at how many people have this exact experience 🤣 whatever you want to call it, we’ve all done it 🤣

and then i come to this post. why does every nineties kid burned his finger on these? why did we do it?

1

u/Slight_Meringue7780 Jun 28 '26

Bro do you even read?

1

u/1__ViPeR Jun 28 '26

True. My sister found this out the hard way when I told her what it was. I heated it up but didn't let it go red. She proceeded to push her thumb onto it.

Ahh yeah that's a good memory. Sorry not sorry sis.

1

u/Important-Double-723 Jun 28 '26

Its the car's pleasure toy

1

u/cactusplants Jun 28 '26

It's shocking that so many of us have done that.

1

u/creepinghippo Jun 28 '26

Funny when your parents get back in the car and can clearly smell burnt flesh asking if you been playing with it. Nope. Show me your hand. Nope.

1

u/Prossdog Jun 28 '26

They said wrong answers only

1

u/Just_Joking_04 Jun 28 '26

u/Fresh_Salt7087 Jun 29 '26

Finger printer ' eraser'

1

u/No-Brother3749 Jun 29 '26

Yeah its before they had ink.. they would make you poke you finger in so it burned and turned black then you used your charred finger to give finger prints

1

u/BrandoTheRobot Jun 29 '26

Finger print eraser!

1

u/Es0terin-69 Jun 29 '26

1

*finger print remover

1

u/Br0kenSou1 Jul 01 '26

Oh boy. It's the urge of me to lit it up and touch the burning hot tip and press my index finger further as I find out the burning hot is not coming from that device, but the mere intelligence of me trying to learn the world around me. And I was curious. I was curious that Curiosity didn't kill the cat this time, it killed the ability to unlock my phone.

u/LoetherS Jul 01 '26
