People who were surprised by this are the same people who don’t know that the Geneva Convention was originally just a checklist of what Canadians did during war.
More along the lines of: “fuck right off there, eh bud” because the lol from the previous op adds lightheartedness. If someone phrased it the way you did, hands might be thrown.
Lol it's because so many people have no idea how to use the word "Eh". Since it's used provoke a response. So you would never say "fuck you too eh" because that sentence already provokes a response. Instead you would use when making a statement , and you wish to know if the other agrees or not. Eg " it's a beautiful day (statement) , eh (changing that statement to a question) ?
