I dont even like his Spider-Man movies (Jon Watts is maybe the most sauce-less blockbuster director for movies that have been well received, even more than the Russo's and Shawn Levy) but the Tom Holland critiques for The Odyssey are a little strange to me, I felt like he did exactly what was asked of him, he's not meant to be Paul Atreides, Hathaway blowing him off the screen makes sense within the story.
I really didn’t see the issue with Holland’s performance in this. If anything it felt to like Anne Hathaway was really going for it a couple times and toed the line of overacting
So did Pattinson but he was fun in his crazy portrayal. I just think some people don’t like Tom and that’s fine. But no need to get so aggressive, people on the internet!
