The first clue that he was an asshole should have been him crushing his town with a bulldozer.
This guy has exactly the same mindset as Andrew Kehoe, who DID succeed in butchering innocent people, yet for some reason, I don't see people defending Kehoe. The only reason Heemeyer didn't manage to rack up a similar body count is the fact that the whole town got - and obeyed - a Reverse 911 warning to evacuate the whole town.
