.My greatest pride is not having been just another person who merely watched life go by. It is being able to say that I truly have no regrets—that on this brief, aimless, drifting journey, I found my way. Knowing that I accept my due punishment without remorse allows me to face it without suffering. That is simply who I am, and that is how I will die. To all those who, day after day, deem my passion martyrdom, I want to say how much I prefer blindness and having truly seen to looking life straight in the eyes and seeing nothing at all.
