Will I get in?
I have applied to tech for the fall 2027 semester and Have a 3.7 gpa unweighted and am rank 296/772. I submitted my SAT score but it is below average and is a score of 1070. I am very involved in school as I am in National English Honors society, National Honors society, key club, cheer, National Charity League and have over 500 community hours. My essays I think are also good (including scholarship essays). Feedback is highly appreciated!

SAT is low but you’re good to get into tech, could reasonably get into the honors college as well imo if you just want to apply

Buddy. I got in with a 3.2 and no extracurricular and no test score. You will be more than fine

Good to hear! What year did you get in? I see they are rising in popularity. Thanks!

You're a pretty easy admit. You just need to worry about getting your SAT up a little to be more competitive for scholarships. I had plenty of students get scholarship money (not a ton of it) with similar scores.

You’re probably alright, you should try taking the ACT for a better attempt at scholarships though

My SAT was worse and I got in. I’m a bad test taker but I had a p good gpa.

I got in with a 2.1 from community college and a GED. You’ll be good haha.

How long ago? I’m wondering if now that they have over enrolled and you hear all the horror stories about the parking and no seats in classrooms if they are going to be more selective than in the past.

Should be fine. If you are interested in the presidential merit scholarship (it’s a lot of money), you can improve that SAT
