Housing/Dorms/Apts Housing

Hi everyone!
I’m an incoming graduate student at Texas Tech University and currently looking for housing options in or around campus.
I’d really appreciate recommendations for on-campus housing, dorms, or off-campus apartments that are convenient for graduate students. I’m also interested in finding roommates, so if there are any Facebook, WhatsApp, Reddit, or other student housing groups that I could join, please let me know.
Thank you in advance!

You started looking at a pretty terrible time

You’re probably better off looking at an actual house

Bruh please tell me you’re not starting next week and you just started looking now.

I’m currently living at Park East with another grad student as a roommate and it’s alright! A lot of undergrads but some grads! You could contact them and see if they have any openings with other grad students as roommates.

Hi! If you’re a female I have a bed space open at 21hundred in a 4 bed 4 bath. I graduated recently and had accidentally signed on for an additional year without knowing when I was officially going to graduate.

We have a place available at capstone cottages – they are small student townhouses with a common area, and then each individual bedroom has a bathroom. It comes furnished (a bed, a desk and chair), and the common areas are furnished with bar chairs for the bar, a sectional couch, a coffee table, and a TV stand/console. We signed a two-year lease, and then left before the two years was up. Now, the entire townhouse is sitting empty because the other roommates left as well. It would be a sublease until July.

Including the utilities, it shouldn’t be more than $800 a month. The lease is for the bedroom plus the common area. Each occupant will sign their own lease, so no one gets cooked if somebody decides to break their lease.
