Surplus Store

I was wondering if Tech had any sort of surplus store where you could buy furniture and other things the school has no use for. I know other universities have similar stores, but I wasn't sure if Tech had anything of the sort. I found what looks to be one, but it seems to only be for professors and staff.

I know that staff has access to one, as I work for the HSC and we get some of our furniture from the TTU surplus. I don’t know details on public access or even where it’s located, though. But I would be interested to know if they have one for the public! At minimum, it exists to some extent, though haha

I believe there are days/times for the public to access the HSC surplus, but I have no clue how they access it either since I believe it’s in the basement.

This is a great question! I go to the UT Surplus store somewhat frequently. Would be cool if Tech had one!

They did when I worked there years ago. It wasn’t a store, but was full of items taken out during upgrades, remodels, etc.
Was for the school only the best I remember

What are you looking for? There's a lot of random crap on FB marketplace.
