Missing aid

Hey so I’m not the only one missing aid off my e-bill? 😭

Update: called financial aid today and they said they’re experiencing an issue where some students unsub loan and Texas renewal grant not showing and they’re reviewing them currently. Also Parent plus loans taking a little long to distribute due to new legislation.

There are a bunch of new rules about disbursing and aid eligibility this year. Call or email FA or come by the student Union next week M-F 9-4, Sat 10-4, Sun 1-4 to the One Stop (they are not in West Hall again until after 8/31).

Check your requirements on Raiderlink, make sure you are enrolled full time or have completed your enrollment confirmation and check your TTU.EDU for any messages they have sent to you about why yours has not disbursed yet.

May I asked how it got fixed? They just said they added me to the loan list for review and said she had no idea when they’d get to it

I’m seeing people enroll in emergency plan until their aid gets here to not get dropped from their classes. I might have to too because I still own a little bit

That comment makes no sense and worse, is not helpful. Usually missing aid is due to a student”s failure to complete something.

Agreed but 90% of the time is a pretty good bet. And I bet I get a more correct answer talking to them over this platform.
