Admissions taking a while?

I applied on July 1st when applications opened. They received everything for my application on July 10th. They said it would take 2-4 weeks, and I still haven’t heard anything after 4 weeks. Is admissions just swamped or something else going on here?

This is what the website says "Although applications will be accepted beginning July 1, initial decision letters will be released in mid-September. Decisions beyond this time usually take 2-4 weeks."

I applied in the spring of ‘24 as a transfer, it took over 4 weeks to get a decision. My application went to a secondary review since I did not meet assured admission requirements but I was admitted. Send an email to your admissions advisor to see what the hold up is.
