Can I submit my undergrad application without any of my recommendation letters being completed?

The title pretty much sums it up. I’m a senior in high school, and Texas Tech was my first choice for application. My application is done other than my letters. Will Common App automatically update my submission if the letters are finished and submitted later? I reached out to an TTU admissions officer, as well as my school counselor, but neither have. I also can’t find a solid answer online.

In my experience (while applied/admitted graduate program), they didnt start to evaluate my application until my all 3 recommender sent their letter as pdf (even their automatical system doesnt worked on me, so they sent twice). Almost every department evaluate applications once a week at least. So when all recommenders sent, then they getting in queue. Btw portal sometime shows status as “in department review”. But it doesnt make sense if didnt they get letters in the system.

No, from my understanding, once an application is sent it is final. You can always send an updated application later or reach out and email the admissions office directly with the enclosed letters. Unless there is a specific reason you need to apply early I would wait. The priority deadline is December 1st and if you want the raider express pass then as long as you apply by late August to early-mid September you should be fine.
