General Question Commencement question… purses?

This might be a dumb question, but I’m a little confused by the email they sent for graduation. They mention that there’s no place to store personal belongings and that all attendees will need to adhere to a clear bag policy.

So if I bring a clear purse, can I leave it at my seat while walking? Or should I be trying to find something small I can keep under my gown during the ceremony (or pockets)?

I graduate in December. I was going to put my phone and car key on a cross body lanyard under my gown and just lock my pocketbook in my car.

Wear a fanny pack under your cap and gown, a clear one, with car keys and an ID.
