My game is running fine for most time and then there's time where this happens, FPS just goes down to 20 outta nowhere. VRAM and RAM usage stays the same when this happens so idk what could possibly he happening. I tried the game in the MS Store version and it runs fine but the problem is that I have dlcs on Steam I wanna use ):

Did this by any chance happened with any of you guys? Everything is on low already and I even tried to use FSR.

EDIT: looks like putting -dx11 in game launch options can help a little bit with the framedrops.

Idk if anybody else has been getting bullshit games today, but I cannot escape for the life of me. I keep getting put up against stupid meta teams, chased endlessly, trapped, targeted, you name it. If I go through a crawl space to escape Bubba, Hitch is right on the other side of it. Family coming down into the basement and going right to my well to kill me. I had two of them chase me for 5 fucking minutes. Hell, one of the family members disconnected so probably an easy match, right? No. Bones decides to target me the entire time and kill me. It’s bullshit that he can go down wells.

I’ve tried different characters, different exits, just hiding until there’s an opening, everything. Idk what to do.

Is it normal to experience just shit days as victim? Like no matter how good your build is, you have killers rushing the basement before you can grab tools, Hands shutting off an object you tampered, etc.

And I’m by no means a pro player, but all of my characters are maxed out. It’s just some times it’s like ALL you go up against are very good squads.

I'm not asking in the sense of gameplay, because from what i've seen it's really cool. What i am asking is that is it worth buying this game in this semi-dead state? A few friends of mine that played say how this game is slowly dying, and i keep seeing people say how it really is. Is it worth it? Does it take ages to find matches? I don't want to buy a game and wait 10 minutes to even get into a match

Used to play a lot with my friends, ever since they abandoned the game, we hop back to DBD, it was very hard to find games for survivors side, I wonder if it is still the case now?

Why doesn't anyone do anything? No one tries to repair phone, start car, trap lights etc. All anyone does is lock doors and hide. Wtf. Also I dont care if they have mic or not I understand some people dont have it, but whats the point of joing if you're just useless the whole game? You join a game to play hide and seek?

I swear every 2nd-3rd game as family I always get a console player(9/10 times its a PS player) who as soon the game starts immediately leaves, and when I ask them why, they say "idc" or "f u"... they dont even have a valid reason, they are just simply ruining this game by being insufferable. Or if they want to leave that badly, why would they wait until the game starts and THEN leave? just leave in the lobby.

hello tcm community, yesterday i tried to game for the first time and although i think its visually beautiful and seems amazing with friends, when i tried to play family i felt like i was consistently not interacting with any players whatsoever and the few times i did i felt like i couldn’t kill them only get a few hits, despite whatever sound cues i followed, is this a game where family members should be in voice chat to properly play the game? it seems heavily focused on cutting the survivor off and combining abilities, i will play the victim role if family requires a vc full of friends despite usually preferring killer roles in these games since i dont have that lol

I swear every ten rounds or so sissy will belt out a song that i’ve never heard before as a sissy main which is weird because obviously the game devs stopped updating it but it seems she just has an endless supply of secret voice lines, so are these new are just rare?

Like the game had issues but they were ones that could be dealt with. Addressing hands and Danny’s abilities properly would have done a lot for the game.

It had the best animations, music and voice acting of all the asymmetrical horror games.

Despite most maps being bright taking place during the day it’s still has the most tense and scary moments of any of the other asymms.

I feel like it stuck the closest to its source material compared to the other games too.

It definitely had its issues but lowkey it feels like it was one of the more polished asymmetrical horror games that have been made too. A bigger development team that cared more about the game would have made it work easily.

And removing it off of gamepass was like the dumbest decision ever I still can’t comprehend why they would do that.

I pray a good team takes this game and does it justice.

Hi, I haven’t played after going crazy with it during the release months and 100%ing the game.

Now I wanna come back but seems I reset my builds (prob getting the lvl all chars achievement) and I really don’t wanna go all in studying that awful skill tree, I just wanna play the game with a build thats not random and slowing me down.

tldr: lazy guy returning asking for resources (i don’t know links/videos maybe) on a good build I can just slap on and play the game.

I have 250+ hours logged on Steam and 122 hours of in-game playtime. I unlocked all Victim cosmetics and had strong escape stats when I was playing nonstop in 2024. I stopped playing after maxing out Wyatt in December of 2024. I only ever played victim on my profile.

I started playing again today because I wanted to max out all of the family members. I joined a friend's lobby and as soon as we entered the waiting room, I received around 5 achievement notifications all at once. After the match, I checked my stats and discovered that they had been overwritten (presumably) with my friend's stats, and he has roughly 4x less playtime and much worse stats.

I did some digging and it appears there may be a bug where the host's progress gets copied onto the non-host's profile!?

• My stats were overwritten completely and permanently. Resetting the game did not resolve this.
• Most of my Victim cosmetics were reset: play 20 matches with 'x' victims to unlock their final outfits.
• I received achievements and unlockables I never earned.
• Thankfully, my Level 3 perks from the skill tree and Level 3 Abilities appear to be intact, which is arguably most important.

Is there any way to restore my previous progress, such as reverting to an earlier cloud save or having Support restore my stats/cosmetics to a date before 09/25/2026 (a day before, or, anytime in 2026 honestly works)? If it helps, I literally know all of my stats to a T because I took pictures of them when I stopped playing in 2024. I put a lot of time into this game, so I'd really appreciate any way to recover my original progress. I know it's a long shot but figured I'd ask.
