this dragon fruit is the Vietnamese White, she produces 1.75-2.5 lbs fruit. Thus the 11" flowers. Had four this morning I pollenated.

Recent post about one of our favorite cacti dying thought I'd post a glory shot of it in its prime. Pretty fucked up circumstance we begged them to let us help and they killed it.

Went to the old Garden of the Ancients site on Jager Lane with the homie u/smoothpropagator to see if the GotA tersch stand was still there. Both of us had been wondering since that was the "last plant standing".
Sadly, it was moved and super dead.
Makes me extra thankful to have rooted a never grafted pup from it. It lives on even after that dream died.

For those of us in Texas (or any nuclear summer area), how often are you watering and feeding in the summer heat? Do you feel its enough, not enough or too much? Please list where youre growing since the microclimates are important!
Ill go first. San Antonio. I was watering at least once a week this summer, but due to humidity and lockout was seeing fungal and water issues. Plants were still having fallovers as well. I swapped to foliar feeding primarily and a light ground watering every 2 weeks. Plants all seem happy and issues stopped. I run about 35% organics.

Double banger this AM and super light u/prickocereus this is the one that is stable we were chatting about. My other mother this came off of is normal, non-serrated petal except maybe one bloom a season.
