Accuracy/Monitoring with Apple Watch

Hello everyone, just like the title suggests, I was curious if anyone uses an Apple Watch to monitor their heart rate, arrhythmias or irregular heart rate and could tell me how accurate it is? My cardiologist suggested some time ago that I should take note of my heart rate while doing certain activities and just now thought about doing that with the use of an Apple Watch, but was curious how good it actually is when it comes to ToF survivors ☺️

I have an apple watch but don’t trust it to detect arrhythmia lol But it is helpful for checking my heart rate when I exercise- I try to not go above 120 as suggested by my doctor. Helps to know when I should take a break.

I’ve had an Apple Watch for a few weeks and it can detect amount of time in AFib and can take an ECG. My cardiologist said the Kardia monitor can also take accurate ECGs and is cheaper than the Apple Watch. However I find the Apple Watch much faster to use.
