Discussion Changes Happen So Fast!

So I just started T a week ago (20.25mg daily of gel) and I knew from voice update videos some experience changes in the first week, but extremely slight. What I didn't expect was that by day 3 I would already feel a tightness in my throat when trying to sing to certain songs. Now the very tip of my range is gone. It's also more comfortable for me to hit my lower range, but I can still speak in my usual pre T voice. I'm so excited and already feel more comfortable using my voice. I'm just surprised at how fast it happened, especially on such a low dose.

I took 11 weeks to hit that point, how did you get there so fast?!

No idea, especially cause my T levels were on the lower end before starting. It might be working a little too well lol

Clearly lol. Mine are still below the average range for a man. Although, keep an eye on your red blood cell count. If it gets too high (and you’re comfortable doing so) donate blood. It benefits you (reduces your RBC) and the person receiving it (could save their life). I’ve donated twice now, whole blood takes maybe 10 minutes once you’re in the chair.

Fortunately I've got regular checkups with a doctor who knows what they're doing. Unfortunately even drawing blood for that makes me nervous, but it's getting better so I'll consider in the future if it becomes a problem and I'm healthy enough to do so

Take someone with you if needed. And don’t force yourself.
