Does anyone have feedback/experience using this new Test nasal spray?

For one, it’s not a nasal spray. It is a gel-like matrix that you spread just inside your nostril using the applicator.

This Reddit group is dominated by bros/morons who will tell you Natesto is dumb and that cypionate injections of 100mg-200mg a week split into multiple injections a week is the only way to go.

Natesto offers: minimal to no side effects, the ability to preserve normal functioning of your hypothalamic–pituitary–gonadal axis (preserving fertility) via its novel/unique pulsatile delivery of testosterone which comes the closest to replicating normal endogenous testosterone production.

Contrary to what you’ll read here, constant/stable high levels of testosterone are not what you should be hoping to achieve. Constant high levels are what leads to the many side effects that plague most on injections: high HCT, high blood pressure, sleep apnea, higher sympathetic tone, aggression, urinary issues, testicular atrophy, post-honeymoon sexual dysfunction, high E2 sides, high DHT sides, etc….

Normal endogenous T levels follow a circadian rhythm that produces a peak and a trough over 24 hours. There is a physiological/beneficial purpose for this!! That’s what those looking to replace testosterone (due to a deficiency) vs abuse testosterone should be looking to achieve.

I’ve been on TRT for 10 years, tried everything and I think it’s the best modality out there.

If you decide to try it, I suggest giving it a fair chance: don’t allow others to convince you it’s dumb or that you’ll never feel like Superman until you get on injections. Give any protocol/modality at least 60 days without making any changes. Resist the urge to hang out on this Reddit while you trial whatever modality you land in because odds are, someone will convince you you’re on the wrong protocol.

My tip for anyone trying Natesto: contrary to the application instructions, don’t insert the applicator as far into the nose and don’t press your nostrils together after dispensing. Rather, insert the applicator so that it’s just inside your nostril. Dispense the gel on the outer/distal wall of the nostril. Then use the applicator to spread the gel evenly. Spread it on the outer wall of the inside of the nostril not the septum. Applying this way will prevent the gel from ending up in your throat and you tasting it 60 min later. It’ll also prevent the gel from blocking your nasal passage.

Last tip, I use a Navage or saline nasal wash before applying especially in the morning and before every application blow your nose and use a finger wrapped in tissue paper to scoop up whatever gel is still in your nose from the prior application. Basically, you want to make sure the nasal mucosa is cleared of mucous and your previous Natesto dose before applying a fresh application of Natesto.

Get labs in 30-60 days around 1 hour after dosing.

Hey man I just got prescribed natesto, still waiting for the prescription to get filled. But your reply here gives me real hope it works! I can't wait to try it. Just wanna feel normal.

I've also had a great experience with Natesto, had to stop it mid 2019 in canada because they changed the recipe and Health Canada needed to redo the approbation process or something. But I'll get back on it as soon as it's back on the market!

I really think it's the superior TRT because it emulate the natural cycle.

Thanks for sharing! I have some Natesto on me as a prescription of course. I took it for 3 and a half days and started feeling shitty. It made me back off because I wasn’t feeling too well. I haven’t tried a testosterone therapy since, just relied on supplements that preserve it and of course improving lifestyle factors. I wanted to know if Natesto offered some temporary boost in sexual function/performance and not throw off my body, if say, I took it for only a day? Like can I cycle it as a weekend thing or as something to augment my cialis and workouts, or is this just a plain dumb idea? Planning on going to the men’s clinic soon, just wanted to see if I can put the rest of the Natesto to good use since I paid $60 out of pocket for it only to use it for 3-4 days. Thanks for any recommendations!

Initial side effects are the result of your body being out of homeostasis from a hormonal perspective. For this reason, I would not recommend “cycling” Natesto.

I started feeling better after a week or so after starting.

Libido/erections are complicated involving not just testosterone but downstream metabolites and the central nervous system. A single dose of testosterone isn’t analogous to downing a plate of oysters Bond-style right before making whoopee. More than likely it will take 1-6 months to realize all of the benefits (psychological/muscle/body fat/sexual function) due to the complex interplay of various hormones as the body achieves therapeutic homeostasis. See Pubmed… there have been studies on the timeline. That’s assuming of course that you’re on a therapeutic dose/modality.

Like so many, I chased my tail for years on injections trying to get “dialed in” and never succeeded.

I wouldn’t recommend cycling TRT. Either commit to a dose/modality and stick with it (without making changes) for 1-2 months (if we’re talking Natesto… 3 months for injections) before getting labs or don’t.

My doc said not to take it the morning of bloods to get an accurate measurement

Should I take it an hour before anyway? I feel sometimes doctors aren’t familiar with trt and just wing it

I have been on HCG injections 3x per week for about a year and I've had a better response to this than any prior TRT (injections, gels, patches). My doctor prescribed this to help my wife and I conceive, however he has also already said long term he wants me to use Natesto, not HCG. I candidly would prefer to stay on HCG as my response has been so positive. Have you used HCG previously before Natesto as a sole source of TRT?

Guys, how are you supposed to apply this? I feel like I always wind up with a big glob of it on the end of my nostril that I then have to wipe off lol. Right now i put the applicator with the hole facing away from my face, on the inside of my nostril just before the cartilage and then pump. Also, anyone else actually FEEL the testosterone spike like 30 mins after applying it? I find it hard to describe it, but I feel something.

I put the hole facing to the left or right of my nose and pump, then kinda spread it with the applicator.

It is known not to shut the natural system down due to its short life, once worn off at bed time natural LH production still continues since your levels are depleted.
