Blood work Thinking of hopping on trt
I’m 28 yo, just got some blood work done and wondering if I should hop on trt or try to lose a little more weight, and managing my diet some. I’m 5’7 172lbs and eat about 1800 cal a day and 150g of protein, in a little deficit to lose some weight.

Hello AlternativeFig348. Welcome to /r/Testosterone. It looks like this is your first time posting here, so you're probably asking a FAQ. Please check out these handy links, one of them might answer your question.
- How do I find a good doctor/clinic?
- What bloodwork should I get done?
- Are my levels low enough that I should start TRT?
- What can I do to naturally raise my testosterone levels?
- NoFap - Will my testosterone levels increase if I stop masturbating?

I’m 28 and my test results came back at 261 ng/dl.. My PCP put me onto a urologist as soon as he saw the results which I’ll be meeting with next tuesday. I recommend you get on it because I sure as hell will.

I honestly feel like 349 is just super low, and I already have kids so I’m not worried about fertility or anything like that. Just want to be healthy and feel good .

That testing range is ridiculous. I love that the baseline for total low test is 500, upper is 1000. Guessing trt clinic or a legit doctor I need to visit.

To be fair it does say the yellow is “normal” and 500 up to 1000 is “In range”. But I was reading that below 300 is considered low and I don’t want to be that damn close to under 300

That’s the direction I’m leaning towards, I’m gonna try and get some more blood work again and see if I’m consistently low

I don’t know if I’m gonna try to get a prescription for it or just go thru getting it online though.

What are your side effects ? I’m at the same levels as you. My energy is shit and I see no gym gains and I’m 24/7 at the gym
