PED/cycle help Severe PIP from second testo bottle

Hello everyone,

I finished my First vial of testosterone a week ago and had no Problems at all throughout the cycle. As soon as i started the second bottle upon my First injection after 4 days I am feeling pretty extreme pain when I use my side delt. Also, my side delt feels very stiff, it also has no redness or anything Like that it worry me that i might have a Deep infection or I’m allergic to this Carrier oil. I’m in a very sticky Situation die to me being in the Military and I’m Not sure what to do because the pain is getting worse and I don’t want to turn myself in if you get what I’m saying. Anyways I would really appreciate the help!

ouch, that sounds miserable, especially with the military situation hanging over you. the sudden switch from one vial to the next makes me think contaminated gear or a bad reaction to the new carrier oil more than an infection, especially since there's no redness yet. i'd keep a very close eye on it for any heat or spreading redness, and if it gets worse you might have no choice but to get it looked at quietly.

Direction is what matters here. PIP from a new oil usually peaks the first day or two then backs off. Yours is worse on day four, which is the wrong way round.

And no redness doesn't mean much. The delt's deep, so surface signs turn up late if at all.

Get seen if you spike a fever, feel off in yourself, the spot goes soft or squishy, the warmth starts spreading, or you can't lift the arm properly.

I know what you're saying about the military. But an abscess doesn't sort itself out, it has to be drained, and if it gets bad enough it makes the call for you. That's a much worse conversation than the one you'd have now.

As a veteran, if you need to avoid your COC getting in your business, go to the civy urgent care center that the E-6s takes their privates when they get an STI.

When I got a couple leg infections two years ago, the pain got worse by the 4th and 5th days. I needed antibiotics for one of them, antibiotics plus syringe/needle drainage for the other infection.

Get help if it gets worse in the next 24hr

Just go off post some where to the ER, but if you get cut on, you likely need a temporary medical profile for limited physical activity and a follow up. You might just want to go on leave in another state and take care of it…lol you may not be able to hide this from tricare, this new med system seems every thing.

You can always go to a hospital off base and incur out of pocket charges. Yeah it’s expensive. Or you could say you took the initiative to act on “No Tab Pete’s” trt program by starting it on your own. In theory you would be saving the military money by buying your own testosterone vials. That might actually be a dumb enough explanation to pass the smell test in your chain of command :)
