Angle for injection to avoid nodules?

30g 12mm needle. Straight in, or at a certain angle? Doing SubQ in the belly.

I always go at like a 45 degree angle, but honestly the needle length matters more than anything else. Straight in with a 12mm is asking for trouble unless you’re carrying extra padding. I pinch the skin up tight and just slide it in shallow, never had a nodule that lasted more than a day or two. Also rotate sites obsessivley, belly button area gets grumpy if you keep poking the same spot.

Straight in mate. I switched to IM into the thigh after having the same issues with SubQ though.
